“Itasca Wine & Spirits is my husband’s and my neighborhood liquor store. We love visiting for a bottle of wine and catching up with the staff.
We rented the private room at the back of the store for our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding. We LOVED it and want to host and attend more events here.
Jason is so nice and easy to work with providing extremely reasonable prices. He thought of everything when it came to the event space. This was a major highlight of our wedding weekend.”

“What a lovely shop! I appreciated the tags on each varietal with descriptions and pairings. I left with an excellent wine from Cyprus which was fascinating. Nice selection of liquor/cordials as well. Small parking lot accessible from Grand St. or the alley behind the building. Street parking as well. Handicapped accessible. Between Violet Wine and Small Hours a couple blocks away, NE MPLS has wonderful wine connoisseurs! Support local businesses!”

Expertly curated to pull you in and foment conversation, their selection of natural and organic wines isn’t just for the fad followers but fit for any occasion—sitting on the couch or hosting everyone you know. Beyond that, their staff’s depth of knowledge is formidable and they are not just open to chat but delightfully friendly. Leslie, the owner, wasn’t there, but I am looking forward to taking advantage of the classes and discussions I am told she offers.”

This is a big and well-staffed TJs. Excellent selection of fresh and frozen foods. My favorites are the pre-made salads and frozen international foods.
Oh, and candy. Above the frozen foods rows of the most amazing selection of candy from around the world. ?”

“This place is really cool. I heard about it in conversation and then drove by it and decided to stop in. The selection is pretty good. Lots of options and the staff was really knowledgeable.
I like microbrews so there were a few things to try.
They did have mushroom drinks which I have never explored but they told me they have sampling on Saturday.
I would definitely stop by again and I hope this stays in the area because it's a really cool addition.”
“TALK ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A SMILE!!! WOW, i had never been to this liq. store and so I went in I didn’t know where the little cooler full of the frozen drink pouches were and had to ask.. the KINDEST gentleman walked me to where the cooler was, and once we got there and I opened it up, he asked what flavor I was looking for & then even OFFERED TO DIG THROUGH THE COOLER FOR ME SO I WOULDNT BREAK A NAIL!!!!! Where do you even find someone that nice?! (I never got his name, but he knows who he is!) I mean, that’s absolutely winning at customer service & made my absolute day. Mickys may not be my closest liquor store, but now it is 100% hands down without a doubt my favorite.”

“Great prices. Their bloody Mary mix in the mason jars are delicious!. 7.49 a jar can't go wrong. It's a jalapeno flavor. There is a huge jalapeno in the jar soaking in it. It is cooked on the grill it looks like, than placed in the jars..”

The shelves are always stocked and everything is faced (pushed forward so us short people can see it)If I have a question staff are always knowledgeable, And always make me feel good because they not only greet me but make small talk.I'll continue shopping there only because of the customer service. “My friend told me about this store. I was apprehensive, but it was on my way home. I was looking for a nice bourbon. The gentleman behind the counter saw where I was looking and asked me if I was looking for a particular bourbon he had behind the counter. I inquired about it, bought a bottle and love it. I will now be doing all of my business there because of this guy's referral and friendliness. I called there today and they are sold out of that particular bourbon, but I'm sure they will get it again.”

“Found my favorite German Beer here in the neighborhood. So deserved my 5 stars. Many of the employees are very kind and friendly except one lady who seem grumpy most of the time I saw her and kept saying she wanna go home. If only they offer competitive price compared to Total Wines. But I can’t complain as Total Wines is at least 18 min away.”
