1 STINKING STARPlaced an order , called today & spoke to an already agitated woman . Gave her my customer number . She then said she called last week and spoke to my wife and told her my part was discontinued & asked my wife if she could send the check back .PROBLEM : the woman never called here & spoke to my wife , the woman went so far as to say my wife told her I was hunting and would call her back .PROBLEM: I have not hunted since 1997 when my friend / hunting partner was killed ( THANKS FOR STIRRING UP THOSE MEMORIES )Then the woman said there must be a second female in my house as she spoke to " my wife "PROBLEM : IF she had called here , why would I call and ask when to expect my order ?Had she called here , I would be asking ... when to expect my check back & when she mailed it .PROBLEM : The woman as agitated as she was was rude to me & when my wife spoke to her , saying that they had never spoken last week and no call was placed here , she became FURIOUS !!!We tried to tell her that what she was saying was lies & she said she was the only one there to answer & make calls .PROBLEM : THE WOMAN FROM MEISEL WAS REALLY ANGRY & INSISTANT THAT WE SPOKE LAST WEEK .SO MAD SHE HUNG UP ON ME .DEAR LADY FROM MEISEL , GOD , MY WIFE AND I KNOW THE TRUTH ,I CERTAINLY HOPE YOUR CALLS ARE RECORDED AND YOU HAVE A RECORD OF THE CALL YOU PLACED AS YOU WILL FIND ... YOU DID NOT CALL HERE .I DON'T KNOW WHO LIT THE FUSE ON YOUR TAMPON , BUT LET'S HOPE YOU GET OVER IT .

Well I had a friend that ordered some materials $90 worth he has not received any of his materials I paid him to do some projects for me and you guys do that to him not cool

I agree with the comments regarding the politeness of the staff, specifically the individual I spoke to on the telephone. That said, when I called about replacing some clock components that had worn out after ten years of use, my story goes downhill. Since I had ordered the worn out components from Meisel years earlier, I had hopes the process would be simple. I had the kit number and all the information required from my earlier order. The nice lady I spoke with, couldn’t find the comparable numbers in her database so you spoke with the “expert” who informed her what I needed based on their current ordering catalog. I was told the parts would be shipped the following week. Three weeks later I called and was told they were due the following week. After several calls and three months later all of the parts arrived and they are most definitely NOT what I needed….and now they are out of business and not answering the phone.

they do not let you know when stuff is out of stock, unless they ship partial order, I had a credit with them then when I went to use it they all of a sudden said I don't have one, they advertise a time out chair with alarm clock when I ordered it no one said it does not come with an alarm clock so when I get it and it isn't an alarm clock so I call and They tell me oh that company went out of business after the catalog was made!

Very Dishonest, I paid for a wood working plan two weeks ago and never received it. I emailed them today and they said they don't carry it anymore and I would have to order it from somewhere else. And that was the end of his statement. He failed to bring up the fact that I had already paid for the product plus tax and shipping and handling. How does a company charge someone for a product and just hope that it goes unnoticed. Luckily I have my original email and card statement, but now I'm not getting an email response back. Do not do business with the company.

I guess it's the risk this kind of business takes, that some of their items are bought from vendors and are therefore out of Meisel's control. The staff is always courteous and sympathetic. Meanwhile, all of my orders have been complete and on-time.
