Extremely caring for their patients and owners. Ongoing medical problem for cat requires overall health care questions and they are able and willing to give help and discussions to help me understand. All the staff is excellent.

Showed up today at EXACTLY 3:42 for a 3:30 appointment. Was 12 minutes late due to traffic/construction. Office manager said I needed to reschedule. I said you’ve got to be kidding me, my dog needs treatment and we’re only 12 minutes late! She said, and I quote, “well when I’m 12 minutes late for my hair appointment they make me reschedule.”
Not only is that a flat out lie (even a hair stylist can adjust for 12 minutes), it’s an insulting analogy. My dog had an appointment for a medical condition and needed medical attention. It’s Apache Animal HOSPITAL - not a hair salon. When a human is 12 minutes late for an appointment at a hospital they don’t get told (rudely) to reschedule. Ever.
Perhaps in their response they should state what the official policy is for late arrivals at the HOSPITAL they’re running.

I’ve been bringing my two cats to Apache for a few years and couldn’t ask better veterinarians, vet techs and staff. Everyone is so helpful, thorough and caring. My cats have been seen by both Dr. Ross & Dr. Cleary and both are wonderful! Like many cats, they’re anxious critters and are always treated with the same tenderness I would treat them with—and they’re always doted on, because these staff are true animal-lovers. :) Follow-ups, test results and annual exam reminders are always prompt. I feel very confident in the care my kitties receive here and would recommend Apache to anyone with pets.

I Was Turned Away! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! Just a warning to everyone! If your pet is prone to being nervous or timid when they see a vet - DO NOT bother calling APACHE animal hospital - they have a ranking system for your pet’s personality while there - my 9 year old dog who has seen vets all her life and no other vet ever worried about her nervousness - she gets scared and very timid at the vet until petted then all if fine - Apache wanted to send me home with drugs to dope her up to come back some other time? So weird and strange? It was stupidly insulting after talking time off work - we left and are not going back!

The ability for my reactive mini schnauzer to work with a vet tech like Rachel has been an absolute godsend. He clicked with her so much faster than anybody else I’d seen try. She’s been so patient helping him get comfortable with her and strange environments, and he and I are no longer stressed whenever we have a vet visit on the calendar. He often won’t even bark when we arrive anymore, which was an issue we were working through. All of this is so largely thanks to Rachel’s dedication to helping him. She obviously loves what she does and we are grateful we found her. We have also been super lucky to work with Dr. Cleary, who is again so patient and clearly so passionate about helping animals. She explains things so well and in such an enthusiastic manner. Reactive dogs deserve a safe space and adequate care, and Theo loves these people and this place! Check out Apache if you’re in need of a vet, you won’t be disappointed!

I have been using Apache Animal Hospital for many years now, more than I can count. They have been nothing but professional. They don't rush you in and out from your appointment, they are there to help your animal in need and even to comfort you during those hard times. 100% I would recommend them, their staff is awesome just like the veterinary doctors themselves.
