We have been to Blue Pearl several times with our pets. We have always had excellent care. They take the time to explain what is happening and give options for helping our dogs! Would recommend them!

our experience at this facility.
We arrived at their facility around 1045 PM on a Thursday evening - from when we got there, we felt as though we were being pushed to the 24/7 facility as they were closing soon.
Multiple tests were ran and tests came back inconclusive for a diagnosis. We agreed to transport our cat to the 24/7 facility so they could further review.
More tests and interpretations were done, but again a relatively inconclusive diagnosis was relayed.
The option we were given was an $8500 exploratory surgery after a radiologist reviewed & believed there could be a blockage, in addition to the thousands we had already paid.
We decided to remove our pet from their facility as $8500 additional was not in the cards and find alternative care.
Fast forward, one of the major organs was elected to not be tested based on their discretion of that test not being accurate. At no point was this relayed to us.
Our cat has now received the care he needed for his case of…..pancreatitis. In hindsight, the symptoms he was showing jived with standard symptoms.
Worth noting, when the test of his pancreas was done the following afternoon, he was nearly 3x the “suspect” range.
I understand we all have a right to their opinion & interpretation of a medical review, we just felt a simple solution was overlooked.

I can’t thank the staff enough for the compassion & kindness they showed us on our visit last week. Sadly our kitty passed in the car on the way to them and we didn’t know until we were there & checked in. They went above and beyond to comfort us and give us the time to process what happened even though there was nothing to be done. They even offered to give us his paw prints which I’m so so thankful to have. Thank you for taking such good care of us and Maverick. ❤️

Have been trying to call this location when they say they're open (have tried 6 times already) only to be told they're closed by their automated voicemail! I was given other locations (from their automated voicemail) but they are way too far from me. This location is only opened Mon, Tues, and Thursday too, so why can't they bother to answer when they're actually open? So much for urgency I guess..

They got me in quickly and explained everything to me, yes, it’s expensive but at least they quickly found the problem and successfully treated it and our kitty felt better immediatly. Who knew cats could bark?

The care my dog was top notch. The assistants were kind and caring. The Vet was wonderful, explaining what was the cause of my dog’s pain and prescribing appropriate medications to help her. She is recovering nicely and will soon be seeing her usual vet for a follow up.
My only complaint would be the cost.

They were open for help w my dog's ear problem. She was in real pain and needed treatment before I could get into my vet. I was grateful they were open and they found the problem and treated to cure it fast and put her in comfort. Thank u for being there and being so tural and kind.

I was thankful that I could get my pet in when they opened. She had a traumatic injury that I could not find a opening at any of the local vets,so it was appreciated. It is very much more expensive which makes it difficult for people who don't have the funds but other than letting her suffer,it was the only option. They cared for her.

This is a great place to take your pet for urgent or emergency care. My dog ended up not having anything serious but I wasn’t sure and they were really understanding. The vet we saw was really thorough and explained everything. I felt the reviews were misleading because some are low stars just due to cost- emergency vet care is expensive but it is appropriate for the service they provide (educational time invested similar to human doctors, advanced technologies, support staff for nights and weekends) and similar to emergency vets in the twin cities. I didn’t have to wait long and got right in; you probably do have to wait if they have an emergency but if your pet is the one with a true emergency I’m sure they would see you right away because they triage everyone. I really appreciate having this place available!

Every time we have unfortunately had to go to BluePearl for our pets, we are greeted with such hospitality and warmth from the staff. I truly have never witnessed a better crew of vets, they all know what they are talking about and do a very good job explaining what is happening. I know our pets are being taken care of thoroughly, and with the love they would have for their own animals. I will be consistently choosing them for any further emergencies in the future. Thank you guys!

Extortionist level pricing, even for being an emergency care facility. But all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Wife and I brought our baby boy in for an injured foot on Saturday afternoon, since nothing else was open. Spent about 7 hours there waiting with absolutely ZERO communication, as they had him in the back in pain. Spoke to a nurse and she assured us that they haven’t forgotten about us and that the vet was busy with a lifesaving matter. That would’ve been fine if they would have communicated with us at least once. We understand that more severely injured/sick babies go there, but at least communicate that and they should’ve left him with us until the vet was ready to see him. But no. We got absolutely nothing until I knocked on their door to get their attention. After 2 more hours of waiting the vet finally came in and said she “couldn’t examine him” since he didn’t like her. Said he was slinking around so her “gut” was telling her it was just sprained. She seemed pretty sure it was just a simple sprain. But said if we really wanted to, they could sedate him and do an xray. She also said they will send us home with pain meds for 48 hours since that’s the critical time but if he seems to be in too much pain or doesn’t improve to bring him back. Ok well I’m not a vet so I trusted that she knew better than I did. Got discharged and paid almost $500 including the overly priced exam fee, that she herself said she couldn’t perform because he was angry…so why did I pay for that exam that wasn’t performed? Got home gave him pain meds he was not putting any weight on his foot. But I continued with the anti-inflammatory med and pain med until I could get him in to see an actual vet at a clinic. I did call them back to see if they would charge me another exam since they already saw him and was told that we’d get charged half the exam fee not including $600 just for the xray and sedation. So we waited till Monday to get him in a vet clinic asap. Found out his toes were really broken. He’s in a splint now thanks to that wonderful vet clinic and getting good care. I’m very disappointed that one of the very limited emergency vet hospitals would care more about charging a family an arm and a leg without providing great care. I’d pay anything for my boy but I expect great care for what you charged us. The vet clinic I took him to charged us a third of what this place did and did so much more for him. Do not recommend Blue Pearl.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. Thank you so much for the miracle puppy. We are forever grateful for your kindness, empathy, wonderful surgery and taking great care of our Susie.?
Our English Springer Spaniel was having puppies Friday, June 14th. We knew she had 5 in her from an X Ray earlier. She only delivered 3.
Of course, it's the weekend now and all vets are closed. On Saturday we knew we had to come in for a C section.
You took an x ray and confirmed 2 pups were still in her, although no heartbeat was detected. We were prepared for that. After performing the surgery, we brought the pups in to nurse. And you brought us out a fourth one very alive! We were shocked, happy, we cried.
During surgery, you detected a heartbeat and we're able to resuscitate one of the pups. I cannot tell you how grateful we are. Your kindness and empathy were wonderful and your efforts amazing.?
You gave us time to say goodbye to the one that did not make it. You put us in a private room to mourn. ??
You did a great job on Suzi. Today she is healing well. And all 4 puppies are doing great! The miracle fourth puppy is doing wonderfully. Thank you so much! We really appreciate everything you all did for our family.????
I want to tell people. Don't read the negative reviews. This is a tough business and a sad business. We had sadness and happiness, but we had kindness and empathy from everyone that worked there. Please feel confident. Bringing your pet to this place. ???❤️
