Rented here many many times. This time was horrible. Paid $900 for a car rental (for them to not even have a CAR) how pathetic, offers me a mini van, sure I’ll take it since you don’t have cars at a rent a car. Never mind we wont rent it cause you’re not old enough. Yet has rented me trucks and SUVs before. I will never be back now. Phone cancellation was horrible also.

Reserved an Avis car through Expedia several days in advance. I went to the Avis location in the morning to pick up the car but was told there were no cars available, and to wait for a car to return late afternoon. I left and waited 7 hours to be told that no cars will be available today at all. I still have to pay for my nonrefundable hotel reservation which I have no way of getting to.
TLDR Just because you reserve a car with Avis doesn't mean they'll have one for you, even if you wait all day!

Super easy to set up rental, prices were best in area. Rental was 2024 Buick Enclave, very low mileage, needed an oil change while we were on vacation, had options to get oil changed through Avis or exchange for a different rental. If we had more time we definitely would have waited, but received same model vehicle and swap was easier than changing from one car to the other. Super impressed and will rent from here in the future!

Went to pick up my vehicle before a long roadtrip at 5:30pm. I was told they didn’t have a vehicle yet maybe by 6 (when they close) it will be there. Waited still no car. What’s the point of making reservations weeks prior if you are not going to have any vehicles. Now have to wait 4-10 days to get my money back.

Didn’t even bother renting a car from here. Walked in and the front desk person couldn’t even take his ear buds out to speak to me. You could hear the person in the back very very loudly talking about absolutely disgusting things like sex and very very detailed descriptions about different circumcisions. I can’t believe that I heard that and having to put this is in a review. This is probably the most disgusting and disrespectful interaction I’ve ever had with a company.

Friendly people but don't be fooled. Still trying to get my payment resolved. They billed me $128 more than what was quoted. Local office said the lower amount would be granted at return. Nope, the local office can't adjust pricing. Found that out when i returned it and talked to a different person. So the first guy lied to me. Nothing but lies and bad communication from the start. Our vehicle should not have even been on the road either. The front left wheel was pushed back over a full inch from the other side. Bent structural damage too. This vehicle had been in a serious accident and they still tried giving it to me. Both tires looked good on the outside. Just happened to park the vehicle with tires turned. Good thing I did. Both tires were worm down the cords on the insides! This was on a 2023 Suburban with Colorado plates. Save your money and you life, do not rent from Avis or Budget. Their Budget name says it all.....Budget

My rental experience was very good. The staff was helpful and the car was very clean and in great condition. And within 7 mint my rent car it's Ready Avis in St.Cloud, MN.

i need a car, and with my phone app and Avis Preferred membership, getting one is easy to do. Here in St cloud it is easy to stop in grab a car and roll out. How convenient.
