Designer Weddings is amazing. I am getting married New Year’s Eve, and Sarah has met with me several times and has provided so much amazing input. I am shocked and quite frankly kind of annoyed of the negative reviews I am reading, because I have met with her several times and have yet to have even a somewhat bad experience. Fabulous decorator, easy to work with, great communication. Would highly recommend!

I just had the most amazing experience with Designer Weddings! I had already gotten my bridesmaids dresses here with amazing customer service and support. I had gotten a beautiful dress about a year ago and (you know how this is going to go) it ended up not fitting appropriately due to me gaining weight. I was so devastated and stressed out. I went to Designer Weddings this morning and amazingly they were having a sample dress sale. The associate (unfortunately i didnt get her name) was amazing and supportive and guided me to my new dress. I felt waves of stress melt off of me and she was so sweet and understanding. Thank you Designer Weddings!

Had an appointment and had friends from out of town coming we all showed up to find out they were closed. All written on a tacky hand written paper sheet saying the staff is sick. The other people in the mall said they have been closed for a week without even bothering to call and cancel the already scheduled appointments. Will never come back and won’t be reccomeding them to anyone.

The owner was so helpful on helping us find centerpieces and putting our thoughts together to buying my centerpieces for my wedding . Also the dresses were beautiful. They really give you the one on one time you need when you are a bride and wanting to be the center of attention. I would suggest this place to anyone for decor or dresses!

I had a great experience with designer weddings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a nice selection of dresses and accessories. They even advised me to wait until the following month to purchase my dress so I could get in on the sale coming up. I would recommend them.

The staff was extremely helpful here. She understood what I was looking for and helped pull selections for me to try on that were spot on. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for wedding dresses in St. Cloud!

I had an appointment with this shop to try on wedding dresses. We got to the store and there was a sign outside saying sorry for the inconvenience we are sick today and didn’t want to get you sick. We went to the shop next door and they told us they have been “sick” for the past 5 days. They never contacted me to cancel the appointment or inform me of this. Very disappointing! I will not be rescheduling this appointment that’s for sure!

I feel like I’m being pretty generous with this rating. I am not one to rate services, however the quality and lack of service experienced, it needs to be addressed.
We arrived early to my appointment and as we walk in, we see a girl sitting at the counter. I am not one to be judgmental, however, she appeared to be wearing a flannel plaid shirt and leggings. Super unprofessional. She did not stand up. She did not greet us. I stated my name, and she said “but you cancelled your appointment”, obviously as I was standing there, I said no. They screwed up the paperwork and had my name written down as cancelled.
Moving on, she did not introduce herself. She did not ask about the people with me. She did not ask about my fiancé, my wedding or my vision. She asked, in a monotone voice, “what do you want”. I immediately felt rushed and a waste of her time. Trying to stay positive, I explained what I was looking for and she said nothing but walked away, assuming we’d follow. She brought us to a section, and asked what I wanted to spend. I stated my preference of around $1000. She laughed. She literally laughed in front of me and scoffed saying we’re not going to have much to work with with that amount. I was so embarrassed and upset. My matron of honor finally put her in her place and asked if she would be able to help us at all, because she is not being helpful right now whatsoever. She immediately stumbled for words and took us to a different section with a better price range. She made me pick out the dresses I wanted to try on.
After finding a dress I was interested in, I had asked if it came in a zip up rather than a lace up and she immediately said no, without even checking. After getting dressed and ready to go, she had disappeared. She went to call about the dress, and said it did actually come in a zip up, as if she went above and beyond her job duty.
We had gotten the information down for the dress, and as we were getting our shoes back on, we heard another women whisper loudly to her that she needed to “get these people out of the entry way”.
I walked away wanting to cry from embarrassment and complete shock.
Fortunately, I had found my dream dress at the next appointment, at David’s Bridal. I had wanted to give my business locally, but even if it was my dream dress that was there, I would have not have purchased it due to the utterly rude and disrespectful service I received.
A Bride should never feel the way I felt on a day that should have been one of the most memorable moments of her life. Unbelievable.
**I was able to find the card, and Kenzie was the one who had “helped” me. Still super disappointed with the service I received here, and would hate for any bride to have to deal with the poor service here like I did. I’m well aware that my situation won’t be addressed by them, but at least my hindsight can help other brides.

my daughter went there with several others to get their bride maids dresses and had terrible costumer service. the lady was not very friendly, sociable, or personable. unfortunately for them and her we will take our business else where.
