I went in to have a haircut. The stylist asked if I wanted it like Jamie Curtis and I said it was cute but too short for me. She then started her clippers and started shaving my head when I told her that I had never had my haircut with a clippers always a scissors she just kept going!! I kept telling her I hated it! She said oh it will grow back in a few weeks! I left crying and my husband was waiting in the truck for me and said immediately “what the hell did they do to your hair “ I cried all the way home and then some!! I’m a senior citizen and now I have to wear a cap for the next several weeks!!!

My friend had a horrible experience with an older beautician. She asked her to please just shave her sides and underlayer which she's had done many times from here. She had her hair she didn't want cut up in a bun to help keep it out of the way. The beautician was very rough with the shaver and gave her a bad burn on the back of her head. The beautician was very snappy and trying to get the shave done quick. When my friend got home she had 2 handfuls of her hair fall out when she took her bun out. She came back then next day to ask her for a refund but the beautician that shaved her was up on register. My friend explained what happened in a nice tone and brought in the hair in a baggie to show proof. No apology she just got snappy and acted like she was being yelled at and went to get the manager. The manager did give my friend a refund thankfully but she will not be going back. I've had bad experiences at great clips but there's no reason for the beautician to not own up to her accident and apologies.

Asked then to trim my hair for prom and they cut it lopsided on the back of my head and the one side also WAY too short. Wanted enough to flip my hair and I can’t even see my hair with my hat on. Pretty disappointed

The women are not concerned with your haircut. You are not a priority. Poorly run. Walked in to them having an attitude. As if I was an inconvenience.
Lots of places for a better haircut in town. Avoid this place

We have brought our child here 3 times now. Once when he was 5, then 6 & now at 7. The workers are always very patient with him and do pretty well at keeping him entertained while cutting his hair.
They have also cut my boyfriend's hair a couple times. I give them an idea of what he wants with a picture and they do pretty well to match that and work with what he's got.
Very kind and helpful people have assisted us each time. The place is nicely kept and the appointments are never longer than expected, often having a shorter wait than told when we arrive.
Appointments can be made online, first come first serve basically you just reserve your spot. They do not book ahead, unfortunately, but that is the Great Clips the way, I suppose.
We will visit again and recommend.

My husband went here on Thursday this past week. His hair was cut by a lady who was very short with him when he tried to make small talk, the entire haircut was very awkward for him, and his hair was left choppy and uneven in the front. Further, the back of his neck was rounded on one end jagged diagonally and pointed on the other. If this happened to my hair I would be extremely upset. Good thing men's hair grows pretty fast.
