I have a 1981 Pontiac Trans Am with a very unique turbo engine. I've only had the car for a few weeks and have had a couple shops not know what to do with it. I was referred to Heartland Four Wheel Drive by one of them. They had no worries about working on the car and were very up front about the issues and costs. I am very impressed with the results.

Heartland 4x4 is amazing. The owner Tom and his staff makes sure your vehicle is safe to drive before leaving his shop. I would recommend and I will be going back for all my repairs.

Had my 2005 Yukon XL 2500 in for some service. Needed transmission cooler lines, a tie rod and a transfer case output seal, which they confirmed were all completed via phone call and I paid for, of course. Lines and tie rod seem fine, but the t case seal went from a slight seep to a rather intense leak with a drip every few seconds when running and even dripping occasionally when not running. The whole crossmember is soaked and I could even see where the fluid was hitting the drive shaft and rear diff cover when driving. This was after a 20 minute test drive to work. In addition, it appears they used regular ATF and not the recommended Auto Trak fluid in the transfer case, based on the fact that the leaking fluid is red like ATF and not blue like Auto Trak, although I suppose this could be a replacement. I unfortunately needed this truck to tow a trailer about 1000 mile round trip this weekend and will not have it available as a result, and will likely be forced to either rent a truck or use my half ton that is not rated to handle the weight of the trailer in question. Pictures attached. I will update this if this is remedied.
Update: last picture with a closer view shows after second seal replacement. Still leaking. Shop claims bushing on the inside is ok and should just be a seal.

Really impressed with this shop. Brenda is the most pleasant and efficient person you'll meet when you call. Tom is a no nonsense guy that will find your actual problem and quote ya up front what it will cost to fix at a fair price. I was on the verge of trading the vehicle when I ran across this shop. I couldn't be happier with the service and the way my vehicle drives now.
Thanks Heartland!

A shop that stands by their work with great customer service. No up-sales on unnecessary services, and always great interactions. Highly recommend

Fair and honest. Did a good job on swapping out my Dodge 1500 air suspension for conventional suspension and came in under quote.

If you are in need of quality care for your vehicle, this is the place. Heartland is my family's first choice, and they provide recommendations to services they can't do, and it's not much that they can't do. You just have to experience them yourself, and you will see how great they are.

Waited 3 months for my rearend to be rebuilt, when i was told a time frame of one month. Had a transmission in for rebuild at the same time sat there for 4 months was told that would be done in within a month. A list of excuses. 8 months down the road parts that were said to be replaced werent. Caused part faluire, ended up costing me more money to fix, which should have been fixed in first place.
