I have gotten glasses here a few times with no problem. This summer my husband and I both got new glasses and and we are both unable to wear them. The prescription is off. I was told to go back to my eye Dr and get my eyes rechecked. I did. No changes there. JC Penney is not willing to redo the lenses they messed up so we are out hundreds of dollars with 2 pairs of glasses we can not use.

The only place I go to get my glasses and sunglasses ?, the ladies are very helpful and are always pleasant ? ! You simply can't beat them! So why not join them!Happy Customer for life!!

Very disappointed this last time I ordered glasses.This is probably my third time getting glasses there.Was there for the two pair no line bifocals for 99.99.Looked and looked for two pair that were close to what I wanted.Finally...found two pair that were slightly above the hundred dollar price.Then there was a problem with that because one pair had a ridge on the bottom,they needed special lenses.There after every pair seemed to have that ridge.So I was getting disgusted at the small selection of what I could get.I just grabbed a second pair to be able to get out of there!!!One employee,with to many customers.No help whatsoever,phone ringing...disgusted!!Asked her opinion...too big for your face.End of story

I stopped in at the end of the day with two pair of rather broken frames..the associate took the time to come up with a temporary fix for one pair so the can be worn until they are replaced..the second pair which were sunglasses needed a new frame and she was able to find one and replace it..I'm pleased!

Very poor customer service. I verified with my insurance carrier that the exam would be covered at JCP optical because they are a contracted provider. Person waiting on me told me my insurance card was only good for prescriptions. She knew all about insurance cards because in the past she worked at a pharmacy. I tried to explain that most insurance cards are good for all covered services but she insisted that my exam would not be covered unless I presented a different card-my card was only good at a pharmacy. Too bad she wasn't willing to at least check on the coverage. JCP Optical lost out on the $500 I spent at another provider who did accept my insurance card for the exam.

Just received my second pair of glasses from JC Penney Optical. The staff is wonderful, very friendly and fun. Price was excellent, and I love my glasses. Thanks Ladies!
