Like so many other "thrift" stores (e.g., Goodwill), the prices at Savers approach or exceed full retail price on too many items. I have visited this store perhaps 10 times in the last two years. I made a purchase on only one visit. Will not return. Just not worth my time. Too expensive for a thrift store. They seem to have forgotten that all of their merchandise was received as a donation. Save your money and go to garage sales. And if you're hoping to find a deal on a "vintage" item, you are better off shopping at an antique store. Like so many others who try to sell vintage items, the prices at Savers appear to be based on the highest listed price for a particular item on Ebay, Etsy, or a similar site. Fortunately, many sellers at antique stores realize that online prices are the worst means by which to estimate what a used item might be worth. Bottom line.... Savers is not a thrifty place to shop.

Very psychotic manager on that evening. Kicked me out at check out . Yelling " get out of my store now , I don't need your money. Leave now" was embarrassed for her and myself
I've never been so disrespected in my life by a Manager. Uncalled for!!! I love savers but now I don't know what to do

I used to go there more frequently before they remodeled when they had fitting rooms. I refuse to buy any pants/dresses/shirts when I can’t try them on. I also buy fewer shirts because not all brands/styles are easy to figure out if they will fit.I really could have used a shopping basket. I didn’t see any.I do like how nicely the household stuff is arranged. The self checkout was another matter. I had never used their self check out before and didn’t realize you have to pay for bags. My purchases didn’t scan right away and there were no associates in the area to ask. I could hear a few of them talking but couldn’t see where they were. I finally got all but 1 thing scanned and the last thing was a shelving issue with the scanning label on the second shelf. I had to peel the label off and cross my fingers it still scanned.I have donated here many times and it’s always been an easy process to drive around back.

I donate trunkfuls of items to Savers. In fact the boys in the back know me when I drop things off. I recently purchased a picture just for the frame. When I got home an hour later, I realized my measurements were wrong. I called to see if I could return it and explained why. The clerk said under no circumstances do they return household items. If I wanted to donate it back, I could get a 20 percent discount coupon. I asked to speak to the manager who was very short with me and said they only return clothing and bedding and household , but not housewares, and that I should read the signs. Everything was self checkout so there were no clerks to inform you of any policies. I was really disappointed and the manager just said “that’s your prerogative “ and hung up. I won’t be donating anything to their store again.

Savers in St. Cloud is one of my favorite thrift stores to shop at. Every time I come here, I like to bring in a bag full of donations to receive a 20% off discount. I like their selection of used items, and my Mom (RIP) loved shopping here too. It's always fun to see what you can find. As other reviewers have mentioned, the fitting rooms are no longer available, and this is an inconvenience for some who want to try on clothing. The self checkouts don't bother me, but no fitting rooms make them lose a star. Oh well, I still enjoy shopping at this location.

This store is so or miss. I seriously think the people who mark the prices are on Crack. Most of this stuff is garage sale cast offs or crap that didn't sell. Rummaging through records and most are not in the correct album or scratched and they want $2.99 for it. The store is also dirty. There is a lot of garbage outside in the lot too. Think ghetto thrift store and this is it. Plus, you have to scan your own stuff and be a cashier. Review 90 in 2023.

Love recycling! It makes it hard to buy here when the prices are higher than the new item. Cut your prices to 2/3rds of what they are, and you'll have more business!

Lots of miscellaneous items to scour through. No refunds though so be aware of that buying clothes. You can exchange for other items of similar value. If not you pay the extra, which is not a shattering "got cha" moment. Lol. Have wonderful day regardless of how it swings.

Great store, lots of merchandise. Friendly employees. Only thing I don't like is they took out the dressing rooms so there's nowhere to try anything on. AND, what is most irritating is if you take an item back, you must buy another item that SAME day. No refund, so you either lose your money or have to find something that might not really be what you want. Feels like a racket. These comments are added several weeks after those above. I bought a long winter coat today. Wore it home, & in the car the zipper sit from the bottom up, making the zipper unusable. Took it right back & my only option was trading it for other merchandise today. The coat was sold with this defect but that made no difference.I buy my nursing scrubs here, but will no longer buy other things there. The store policies have changed permanently since Covid, & not in the customer's favor.
