I want to start off by saying I have only ever written a review 2-3 times in my life. I'm not one to complain and typically give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to customer service or a poor experience. Crossroads Target is my go-to, I usually go 1-2 times a week! I felt compelled to write a review about the line situation, especially on weekends when it is super busy. Sometimes the line goes all the way back to the groceries. I'm not complaining about the length or amount of people, but the flow of this line is utter chaos. There is no organization to it. It results in people cutting in line (often unintentionally), people getting frustrated (customers and employees), and just an overall negative experience. A lot of confusion seems to stem from people not knowing others' intentions to use self check-out or not. I have seen people cut in line several times before, thinking that the super long line is for self check-out only when in fact many people in that line would happily take any open checkout, self or non. Also, the second row of non self-checkout kiosks are often shorter or open but people don't seem to realize this or have a hard time getting to those lines due to the layout of the checkouts minimal room. Yesterday amidst the mayhem, I asked an employee, "is there any rhyme or reason to these lines?" She said, "What do you mean". I honestly replied, "I have no idea where to go right now". She replied with a non helpful explanation and offered no additional assistance. Several customers around me looked to me and rolled their eyes in agreement/sympathy. Ideally, I would suggest re-organization of the entire checkout area, possibly having more self check-out lanes and larger non self-checkout lanes where you have more room to bag your things. I realize this may not be possible at this time financially. I also hate when people complain and offer no solutions. So here is my idea for now (super simple but worth a try I think). Have two main lines, one for self check-out and one for non self check-out. Clearly divide these lines with a physical gate/ropes. Clearly mark them. This way people can choose which method of checking out they'd like and it is clear to everyone else what others' intentions are. If you don't want to always have these gates up, then at least put them up on weekends during peak shopping times. For the non self check-out line, it would be nice to have an employee directing people to open lanes so that the second row of checkout lanes get used. Sometimes people just aren't very observant and need a little guidance. Thank you for reading this review. I would be very grateful if some effort was made to improve this situation. I know I'm not the only one that gets frustrated...every time I'm in this situation several customers around me are complaining or relating to me with confusion. I want to keep coming to my favorite store and have it be a positive experience. Thank you!

This was my first time at this Target location, and they have many items to choose from. I came in with my husband, who was looking for a cheap t-shirt. We walked around and he finally found what he was looking for. I was glad. This store is a nice size Target, and also have a Starbucks inside. We will be back soon.

Pre-covid, pre-riot visit and this place was really unapologetically picked over for really normal items. Strange I always thought Minnesota was the land of Target...

Came to this location a few months ago when we were in Minnesota. I thought I did all of my MN reviews, but I still have a handful to complete, so I'll tackle them one by one whenever I get a chance. This Target is big, clean & has a grocery. So if you're staying at a close by hotel like we were, you can get all of your needs here for a fraction of the cost compared to the hotel sundry store. I'm a fan of the bigger, calmer Target locations. Glad there's one nearly every place I go. Super convenient. Plenty of parking too. *Disclaimer*: My reviews & opinions are unsolicited and based on my own personal experience. I don't own or work for any of the businesses/owners that I write reviews. I write reviews/tips simply to be a positive contributing factor and give back to the Yelp Community & support awesome businesses. On the rare occasion that I share a negative experience, it's after I unsuccessfully tried to resolve it privately. This is done in hopes that the company will improve, and to let consumers make an informed decision. We are like magnets. Like attracts like. You become, and attract, what you think (and how you act). Keep surrounding yourself with positive people. It makes life (and Yelp) just a little bit better :)

It is exactly what one would expect from shopping at a national retail company. Good people probably not paid enough being held to inane metrics to appease some pantsuit from corporate. Grocery items are priced high compared to Sams or Walmart. They had a cool partnership with Flashfood which demonstrated a cool way to fuse corporate social responsibility with a need to improve margins but terminated the partnership soon after takeoff. The Flashfood made it worth putting up with parking at Crossroads but not much of a carrot to get me back now that it's gone.

First time in my life I left Target without buying anything. The store was so cluttered and disorganized. It just felt dirty.
