Do not see Ava if you want strong vivids or any sort of communication about your hair. I booked with Ava because she's one of the only stylists in town who markets a vivid service. As a new client, I made a mistake in the booking process and instead of telling me I made a mistake and helping me book the right service for what I wanted to receive, Ava massively messed up my hair, did not communicate anything about pricing, and took over 2 hours longer than I expected. She even had to push back her next appointment because she took too long on my hair. I ended up being charged over double what I expected and had the budget for. But because Ava had taken SO LONG, I was running late to my next event and was not able to talk money with her at the salon. When I texted and emailed Ava and Naomi about the issue, I was met with hostility and disrespect and gaslighting about my experience. I requested a partial refund, and then a full refund as my experienced worsened and they both ended up ghosting me. I've attached some pictures of my inspo pics versus what I walked out of the salon with. Ava is a very sweet girl in person with horrible customer satisfaction skills. I would not recommend Loft Salon to anybody who wants even a mediocre color.

This has been the best salon I have gone to yet!! Heather does an amazing job on my hair and have not had a bad experience once. I am very picky with who does my hair as I have thick curls that have a mind of their own. Just today I went in wanting a big chop for the summer, this always makes me nervous since curls always spring up making it look a lot shorter. Heather did an amazing job and gave me the perfect length!! I could not ask for a better hair stylist and will be staying here.

Ava is awesome!!! First time seeing her, and she did a great job. I would recommend Ava to my friends. She really listened to me and gave me the style I was looking for. The salon is really cute as well. Thank you, Loft Salon and Ava. I will definitely come back.

Today was my first time at this salon! I saw Abby for a haircut! All I can say is she is awesome! She listened to what I wanted and she gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever gotten! I am so happy to have found The Loft and Abby!

I had my first ever appointment at The Loft today and Ava was nothing short of phenomenal! She was so attentive, listened to all my needs and left me feeling so refreshed and gorgeous. Not to mention, she is so incredibly friendly - talking to her feels just like catching up with an old friend. I’m so excited to have found my new salon!

Ava did an amazing job trimming up my dry ends. She was super easy to have a conversation with and very spunky and smiley. She even was kind enough to give my hair a little curl to leave with, which my boyfriend just adored. Definitely will be having her do my regular haircuts and I highly recommend anyone looking for a hairstylist! Thank you so much again! ❤️

I’ve lived in DC for 8 years and typically spend over $100 for a haircut, but I’m so happy I decided to get my haircut at home in MN! I got the BEST haircut at Loft for under $50! Not only was the haircut excellent, but Abby was so lovely and enjoyable to spend time with and she took the time to explain the products she was using and give me hair tips that I have never heard elsewhere, even going so far as to explain the structure of my thin hair and why it reacts differently than thicker hair might. The decor was also very aesthetic and made the experience even better. I was beyond satisfied and impressed. I would absolutely recommend Loft and Abby specifically.

I never had hair cut inside the States so this was first time. I was so skeptical about it and I didn’t know what hair cut to get. I showed a picture to Heather and she did exactly the same apart from my face and head being different she gave the best haircut. I liked it a lot. I look lot different now.
