“When we decided it was time to sell our house and downsize, we wondered how we would be able to accomplish what felt like an overwhelming challenge. My wife started looking online and found SOS. That changed everything. From the first appointment to assess what was needed, we were reassured we were in good hands. The incredible crew sorted our possessions. Large furniture items were sold online. SOS handled the arrangements with the buyers for them to pick up what had been purchased. Other items were made available through eBay. The SOS staff handled the online postings, interacted with prospective buyers, and shipped the items when they sold. The main event was the estate sale. The staff came in to price items, set the sale up, provided staffing for the sale, and executed all of the transactions. When the sale was over, they sorted through what was left, determined what should be donated and what would be taken to the SOS Treasure Chest store to sell. When they were done, the house had been cleared. We deposited the check and were free to take our next steps. The work they did was phenomenal, but the best part was the personal care and sincere concern they extended to us. They walked every step with us to help make our life transition better than we ever imagined it could be. SOS stands for Smart Organizing Solutions, but it could also be Sensible Organizing Solutions or, even better, Sane Organizing Solutions. “Love,love,love this store. The staff are amazing and so sweet. I personally only shop 2 thrift stores, wacosa and another in Princeton. The variety of items in the store is plentiful. I will only donate to wacosa, not any other thrift store in st cloud. 2 reasons why.. the friendly welcome you recieve, and I know the money they make goes to a good cause. So many people don't know about wacosa so anyone I meet I always encourage them to go and to also donate. This is the one store that when I donate brand new clothes, purses or items with tags on them they are so appreciative. Plus, it makes me feel good.
As for the couple who felt harassed about their tattoos and such. I have never had that experience. I am covered in tattoos, colored hair and piercings and have never been treated poorly. I have been coming here for years and the employees start to feel like friends. They are so busy working they don't have time to follow people around. I'm not saying it didn't happen, but I guarantee that if this happened she is probably no longer employed there. Btw...discount days are great. Nice quality items for such a great discount. Keep up the good work ladies and I will see you soon.”
