Staff here are so compassionate and helpful. Always supportive when we find animals that have been abandoned or lost. We happily give donations multiple times a year, and it feels good knowing we helped just a little

Wonderful, caring staff. They work with you so that you can put a hold on your furry baby for a bit, even over the phone,, if you need time to get enough funds. They explain the paperwork, and they do a lot for the pet like microchipping, etc. before heading home. I live in St Paul, but it's definitely worth the drive up there. Wish there were more wonderful facilities for animals, like Tri-County.

We adopted our puppy a few weeks ago and the staff was so supportive! Everyone seemed genuinely excited for our family, they partly vaccinated our puppy, neutered him, and even chipped him. We felt like they took really great care of our little man prior to us adopting him. All of the animals seem very well cared for and their needs are more than met. We'll likely adopt here again.

I’m giving this humane society a 3/5 stars.I have VERY mixed feelings on this place. Whilst yes, i think the “clear the kennels” promotion they are doing (oct 2-6) is amazing and I absolutely love the dog I adopted. However, I have many concerns in regards to the care of the animals. The dog I adopted yesterday (October 4th) is a 3month old puppy. Upon receiving/adopting him, he was soaked and reeked of urine (understandable, as they’re in cages that I’m sure are hard to keep clean 24/7).My main concern is that i was told that a full body examination was performed the day I took him home and everything looked “good”. Upon arriving home I found MULTIPLE ticks on him. The staff told me he had received a flee and tick prevention but I was not told there were currently ticks on him (I’m assuming this is because they did not do a thorough examination before allowing him to be adopted). I was told over the phone by one of the staff members, Adam, “we don’t have time to comb through hair by hair to look for ticks. Also, it’s safer to just leave the ticks in and allow them to die and fall off him over the next 1-2 days because the flee and tick prevention will kill them”. I am not a veterinarian but I know removing ticks as soon as possible is very important.I don’t usually leave reviews like this for places, but after having adopted other animals from shelters, I felt it was necessary to bring awareness to these concerns. & i advise everyone that wants to adopt from here or has recently adopted an animal from here to perform your own examination on your dog.I had a very poor customer service experience with the staff as well. I talked to multiple staff members over the phone and in person and felt like I only had one good conversation with a girl, and that was for when I was putting the deposit down for him.Attached is photos of one of the ticks embedded and removed. And of course a cute photo of the new pup(:

A very kind and caring place! The people were wonderful to work with and I couldn't have asked for more. I feel blessed to have found them and am grateful for their help and input. Consider donating to them if you have a heart to, they do very important work in our community :)

I love the humane society. We've gotten our last two cats from them and they're so caring about the animals. They called and checked in twice with both our adoptions to make sure they were doing ok

Hate seeing the animals in pet jail. Very sad. A lot of beautiful cats, only a few cute dogs though.

This shelter truly cares about the animals that are there. They have something around 98% adoption rate, which is astounding!
