The stylist that did my hair was unprofessional, lemme explain. I simply asked her if she ever styled “hair “ like mines. Obviously I’m
Black so my hair is thicker and more corse than straight blonde hair. Her response was sarcastic, saying she never blow dryed dry hair. But I simply asked for a blow out with a round brush to give the hair some bounce. She kept running her fingers through my hair and I told her politely my hair texture is not at that point where you can run your fingers through. Every time she did it I asked her not to , I can feel her fingers getting caught in my curl pattern and snagging my hair. I couldn’t handle anymore of that so I simply asked if she can just straighten my hair with a flat iron since the blow dry with the round brush was not working. She instantly burned the back of my neck. And I told
Her to stop went to the bathroom to look at the damage to my scalp and it was so red and bare. I was burned. When I left the restroom that stylist was laughing with a co worker of hers while I held back tears from being burned and taking as a joke. I wouldn’t recommend people of color to go
This salon. They obviously don’t have the knowledge of styling African American hair and nor the patience’s to learn. Her ego is bigger than her experience and I want justice !

So resently i went to ULTA for my very first time and i loved how well they treated me and my friend. I was looking for a eyeliner stamp and i asked one of the workers (im sorry i do not remember her name) and she tried her best to find what i was looking for. We did not find exactly what i jad in mind but she showed me a whole bunch of alternatives. THANK U SO MUCH
P.s i will be going to get my makeup done for prom ❤️❤️❤️

I used to love going to the salon until recently. I wanted the bleached parts of my hair colored. Only some got colored. The stylist left dye all over the back of my neck and I left with my hair still wet. The manager was very rude when I tried to talk to her. I asked another stylist to leave a message and have the manager get back to me so we could try to figure it out peacefully but I never got a call back. I could've done my hair myself if I wanted it this bad. The color even faded not 2 days after.

They are way too pushy about having a rewards account here. I buy 1 product maybe twice a year, so I don't feel the need to give out my info and have an account for a place I barely shop at. The last two times I have been here, the cashiers freak out if you don't have a rewards account. I'm sure the cashiers don't want to be pushy either, so I'm guessing management forces them to be. Makes me uncomfortable and not want to shop here.

This was my very first encounter at this specific ULTA location, I decided to stop by since I was getting my girlfriend a birthday gift. I had already decided that I wanted to get her a perfume. But the question was I didn’t know which perfume to get. That is where Leena came in to help me. She was such a delight and was so patient with me as I never had any prior experience picking out perfumes. She showed me the wide selection of choices and walked me through each and every single one until I had decided on one. It was such a good experience altogether and I would definitely come back the next time I have to go buy some products. If you see a girl named Leena in the store, just know that you are in very very good hands. So approachable and patient!!

I used to LOVE Ulta, but now it's just eh. If I'm just browsing it is fine, but when I'm looking for a specific item they are frequently out of products. Went this weekend and every thing I went in to buy (3 different things) was out of stock. Selection of hair tools is also lacking. Everything is the same product just in different brands. Would like more variety. I can order online, but it would be nice to see and look at the product first - that is the reason I went into the store.

I appreciate the large selection of makeup products at Ulta, but I was disappointed to find many popular colors out of stock.
The customer service needs significant improvement. On my recent visit, I felt rushed and unwelcome. With 10 minutes left until closing, I was told to head to the front of the store, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. The staff seemed rude and unhelpful, making me feel like an inconvenience for shopping there.
Overall, my experience was far from pleasant.

Slate, Kaylee and the lady in pink by perfume with glitter in her hair were all so INCREDIBLY helpful. I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to see everyone bust their butts to help a customer out. They all were able to help me find exactly what I needed and more. Unable to find the perfume I wanted in store so they shipped it to me for free! Super nice and kind. Was having a really bummer day and they turned it around with their sheer kindness and attitude.

Kayla B is my hairstylist and always understands what I'm asking for with my haircuts! I have never received a bad haircut from her, I show her reference pictures and we talk through what I'm thinking and it turns out great. I'll always go back to Kayla! ❤️
