“The bouncers were rude, condescending and confrontational for no reason. I went there for a friend's birthday bash and left in tears after how poorly I was treated. I was sober and wasn't causing any problems and I felt they were acting like I tried to bring a machine gun into the bar. I used to have a great time there and had fond memories of the past there but I will never go there again. I would rather go into downtown Minneapolis if I decide to go out to a bar. Never again.”
“Great place to stay especially if your traveling with kids. There is plenty of things for them to do here between the 3 pools and 2 hot tubs, arcade, prizes, basketball court, volleyball, and even a small jungle gym! I stay here often for work, the only downside is that breakfast is not free. It can get a bit busy here as well sometimes during events. But its always clean and service is friendly.”

When we were looking at different venues, our tour with Katelynn is what sold us on The Regency. She was organized, honest, and went out of her way to make sure all of our questions were answered. She even had spreadsheets that helped us get accurate estimates of catering and bar expenses based on our guest count, which was amazing. Very few places will take the time to sit down and go through everything in so much detail.
Our day-of coordinator, Emmalee, was even more incredible to work with! She helped answer so many questions that popped up along the way, made sure our wedding day timeline with built for success, and went out of her way to help us in so many ways. Our wedding day was would not have been the same without her! From helping guide the timing of our ceremony procession, stocking our cocktail hour snacks, lighting all of our candles, guiding our guests from cocktail hour to dinner, and so many other things in between – she took care of everything. Knowing she was there behind the scenes was SUCH a relief, and allowed us, our family, and our wedding party to relax and enjoy the day. She brought such a sense of calm to the day – we knew no matter what happened, she would be there to help take care of it. We are so grateful for all she did to make our day flawless and stress-free! Consider yourself lucky if you have Emmalee as your day-of coordinator! We can’t thank her enough!
