Awesome well kept building , I recommend to anyone who’s looking I’ve never had a maintenance issue but they come and do unit inspections to keep it well taken care of. The office is always reachable & polite . I love my apartment it’s convenient and great first apartment for me and any one else.

After I was carjacked and mugged at gunpoint in the parking lot of the apartment building, they prioritized damage control to their short-term reputation over the safety of their residents.
This was a place where residents regularly received email warnings about everything from plowing to seasonal weather changes. Yet for about a week after a tenant was carjacked in their parking lot, nothing. I sent email after email urging them to warn my neighbors. They didn't even acknowledge my emails, until I reminded them of the legal consequences of failing to warn their residents. I then got a phone call full of fake sympathy that a "7th Heaven" actor would cringe at. On that call, I heard the landlady ordering her secretary not to send out anything until she'd read and approved it.
The "warning" email left out the GUN--which I'd emphasized endlessly in my emails--and was worded to mislead readers into thinking my car was just stollen when I wasn't looking, instead of carjacked.
Nothing legally prevented them from warning my neighbors right away. The police officer working on my case told me this, and said that in his opinion, Sela was just trying to save face and prevent a mass move-out.
Oh, and that carjacking was just a week or so after Sela raised my rent, by a significant amount. During the Pandemic, and during the spike in crime around Minneapolis.
It's obvious that they thought their apartments on the "safe" side of town could be worth much more during the crime spike, and my carjacking threatened that scheme.
Reading other reviews, it seems like these people have always been Scrooges about their apartments. But raising rent during the Pandemic, and jeopardizing tenants' safety to keep that raised rent flowing in, was a new low for Sela.

I can’t tell nobody what to do but I can give advice. I wouldn’t rent form these people because they are a bunch of criminals. They don’t want to give you your deposit back they places are raggedy and then they wanna blame you for tearing it up so take pictures with the date when you move in, for your records I feel sorry for who properties that they are managing because they’re not doing a good job. They’re not fixing things stuff is breaking down all the money they make and they won’t put in new cabinets just letting people live any kind of way.

Well, overall, these prop. mgrs were fine when I had my first apt. with them. And when I needed a better-suited change, they were Very interested in my staying with their company as my 2nd place to live. And I was Very grateful to call Creek View, in St. Louis Park, my next Long Term living place.

I just recently arrived from FL and decided to go with a small apartment. Mr. Bottler showed me the perfect place for a decent price! Throughout the entire process he answered all of my questions and gave me the pertinent info I needed to know as a new tenant. Best experience to date for ease of move in after submitting application. 11/10 for service. Thank you for helping me find my new home ????

It was difficult to get in touch with someone to schedule a showing. When I went and saw the place and the agent, Hans, told me no one had applied yet. I told him I wanted to apply and he said he would send me an application. I waited 2 days and didn’t receive anything. I then emailed asking for an application but heard nothing. When I didn’t get anything I called the next day. He didn’t pick up and didn’t call back. The next day I called the office. No one picked up or called back. I tried to apply on their website but couldn’t find the unit that had been shown. I then got ahold of someone who said they would send my message to the office. No one ever got back to me. I texted the original agent this morning asking about my application only for him to say the unit had been rented. I was led on and ignored for 5 days. What a waste of time.

Thanks Amy for all kindness you did for me! Although, I didn’t qualify for returning deposit. But you heard me and understood the situation.
