I am unfortunate enough to have this as the only close pharmacy and now use another online for my dailies. The store is always understaffed and mismanaged, probably due to underpaying employees. The pharmacy is horrible, no matter how many times I call ahead, or how many extra days I give them, my prescriptions are never ready. This last time it took a week to fill and even then only half was available and I had to return 3 days later. I then returned 6 days later and it still wasn't ready. Once I finally got it, they charged me, even though I had two insurances that said it was covered, even when I insisted. I paid because I needed it and then I called and got them to double check and sure enough they shouldn't have charged me.

Waited 15 minutes in line for a simple transaction while they had one register open dealing with a return. Meanwhile, there’s 10 people stacking up in line and 2 employees wandering around. Finally open another register, it immediately crashes and the employee just kinda shrugs like that’s the only option. Garbage customer service.

I spoke to a person on the phone from the pharmacy about refilling a prescription. I didn’t hear anything for 2 weeks. I called again and the said they would fax it again to my doctor. A week went by with nothing. I finally called my doctor and they said they have had no fax or contact from Walgreens. The nurse sent over the prescription and now it is finally ready. The nurse said Walgreens lied to me about sending a fax. That is par for the course from walgreens pharmacy on Cedar Lake Road

Literally the worst. Would give it a zero if I could. Go anywhere else. Always understaffed. Often out of scripts. Tell you 20 and you wait 40. It’s faster to go in person than call- You’ll wait the full 30-40 on hold of you even get through.

Waited two days to get the first available covid test and showed up at the drive thru to be told we don't do covid test. Why would you even have people waste their time signing up. The pharmacist had a major attitude which is under staffed as usual. How do you stay in business with such horrible reviews.

The worst pharmacy EVER! I called to get my prescription filled and they said it should be ready by end of day- so I waited until the next day to give time. Went there and they said they didn’t have time to get it filled so I asked why did you say it would be ready I was pissed but that’s not even the worst. I went there for 5 DAYS straight to pick it up and every time they said THEY DIDNT HAVE TIME. So moved it to another place that had it ready in an hour. Horrible service

Nothing against the actual pharmacists who work here, who do genuinely seem to be doing the best they can given shortages out of their control. Five stars for them. But ever since I've been coming here, the public facing areas have been visibly very overdue for a deep clean. Like I really don't get a good feeling about this being where sick people come for medicine. If it's this grimy where we can all see it, what's it look like in the back, where the food and beverage stock sits?

The business school dropouts and corporate hacks in the Walgreens executive suite have set these pharmacy employees up for failure. Between short-staffing and a disorganized records system, I've had to make at least two trips every single time I've gone to pick up an order (either they don't receive the prescription, or they don't fill the entire order). I don't have the time to run through this rigmarole every month, so I'll need to start getting my medication from a business managed by folks who didn't fail their way upward into leadership positions.

The service and lines here are terrible, and the prices they charge are borderline predatory. If there wasn't a pharmacy here that people depended on, there's no way this place would stay in business.

My son was racially profiled and assaulted in this location, been here 5 years and have never had an issue. The new manager is on a power trip.

Got what I needed which was a notebook. There was a bit of a line for checkout which seems typical for Walgreens. As I was checking out I thought about getting a booster and was able to get in right away. I scheduled online and was able to get in fairly quickly which was great! Thanks pharmacy team!!

Stopped by to do a return of a few items I ended up not needing. The only cashier was held up with another return and when the shift supervisor came to assist he moved things along, but insisted the price was right with a customer in front of me tho she was insistent the price was not what she paid. When he helped me the terminal crashed. So we moved to the photo center and another terminal crashed. He handed my items back to me and suggested I come back tomorrow to "try again". The attitude for both employees could be better, but Walgreens needs to work on their computer systems if they can't process returns.
