As a contractor I have had more then my share of garbage roll off services and I am not exaggerating when I say there is no comparison to A-1. They answer the phone immediately and are always courteous and friendly. The drivers are professional and have maneuvered those giant canisters in the most precarious areas i.e. down a Mpls alley and in between two houses you can barely fit a car into. The pricing is usually cheaper then others and the availability is 90% next day. I am certainly not affiliated with A-1 in any way, just a very impressed repeat customer! I've used A-1 twice for construction debris (residential renovation) in St Paul. The base charges are for standard materials. Appliances or furniture disposal costs extra, so ask if this is what you need to get rid of; I was told we would get charged the amount the dump charges (which is ~$80 per item if I recall correctly), so while our bill was notably higher than the base charges when we disposed of ~5 such items, the extra cost was expected. Generally, communication has been clear and friendly, and I'm happy to continue working with this company.

When I called up A-1 to order a dumpster, I was not able to give them an exact date of when I needed it. Four months later I called and without any questions the dumpster was delivered the next day. The driver knocked on my door to talk about the instructions about where I had wanted it to be placed and talked to me about how it wouldn't have worked according to my instructions. He was COMPLETELY right about the best placement of the dumpster and I appreciated that he just didn't place it and drive away! Also I, called A-1 at the last minute to extend my contract for another two weeks. Not only was the staff very kind and professional, they didn't ask me any further questions or make me fill out another contract or try to push other options on me! I will definitely call this company and suggest them to anyone who seems their services!

Great company, excellent prices and wonderful people! The drivers always protect my driveways & concrete by dropping the units off on wood in the perfect location. Megan is amazing! She always manages to get me a dumpster on short notice and accommodate me when I need to extend the rentals due to delays on materials or with my workers. I give A-1 and A+ … I highly recommend them!!!

A-1 has been number 1 for me since 2004. I have used them multiple times - always with complete satisfaction from delivery to placing to pick up. The phone is answered by professional LOCAL caring team members that want to assist in getting your job done. I have referred many happy customers to A-1, and thank the whole team for their care and concern and value for the pricing.

I was surprised to get it delivered next day and on time delivery for our house siding to get done. I am very happy they worked with me to get it for 2 weeks and when I was supposed to only get it for a week. The delivery driver was a professional backing it up to my drive way up on the hill. I wasn't sure if he could do it, but it got done. I will definitely reuse them again. Compared to other Roll-away prices, they are the best in town for my pocket books. Thanks A-1 hauling.

I would highly recommend this place. We had a tornado go through our back yard, so much damage. We filled one 30 yard roll off last year. Then ordered another 30 yard for the rest of the stuff this year. That's with the contractor's taking their stuff home with them. What a mess we had. They are prompt, on time. They actually answer their phones! I only had to leave a message once and it was very late in the day. They immediately returned the call. Very rare indeed these days! Once again I highly recommend them. The easiest part of our tornado cleanup was having them bring the dumpster!

I used to use A1 for all my personal and construction company dumpsters, now I’m looking for a new supplier.I spoke to them last Friday to schedule pickup the following Friday. Everything was good and they confirmed the date over the phone. Then on Tuesday the driver walks up to me and asks me to move my truck so he can take the dumpster. They showed up 3 days early with no phone call, text, or email to let me know. So I am charged a ridiculous amount for a half full dumpster.Worst part is the person who took my call in the office was unapologetic, made it seem like I should have known, and when I asked why I didn’t get a call she said “we called some of the people to let them know of early pickup”. I asked the driver for an hour to throw something in there and he refused.In hind site I should have never moved my truck and just started loading the dumpster.No more A1 for me.Service: Dumpster rental

Called 2 weeks + before to have a dumpster delivered on a Friday, I had 6 people and equipment lined up to demo. They called that day at 1:15 pm to tell me they were short a driver and may not be able to deliver my dumpster but would call or text when they new for sure. That never happened and I didn’t get it until Monday Got the dumpster filled on Monday called Monday afternoon but had to call to two additional times plus text the driver that delivered it to get it removed on Thursday.Stay away. If you are in the Big Lake area try Bumblebee Express great customer service.

Everything was good until the extra charge came. I made multiple calls to check what can go in the dumpster before I put stuff in it. Still got charged $109.75 for the items I could of bought for free to county recycling centerAnd try to talk to them. It’s your word against their. Should have read the reviews before we used this company. They push you so hard to sign their contract and take full advantage of you after that. We asked for two additional days to keep the dumpster after the original week we had it. We agreed to pay the $20/day extra but they let it sit for an additional 9 days before picking it up. We had only filled up the dumpster 2/3 - 3/4 full from a kitchen remodel, cabinets, hard wood flooring, sheetrock, and small scraps is all was in there and they still charged us an additional $160 for being “overweight”. We will never use these crooks again and i suggest everyone stay away from this company.
