Called this office because it will be the branch I have to call to for gas refills due to a newly purchased home with their tank already on the property. One of the must infuriating and embarrassingly ridiculous conversation I had with the Sharon rep. I asked about a quote to refill a tank on our property. She quoted me $10,000! Are you serious? 10 thousand for gas refill on a 500 gallon tank? I started to think are they dense or running a scam? I told her my mom had property up in Hinckley and she had a 500 gallon tank too, and the refill each time was only a little over a thousand dollars. Sharon laughed through the phone saying, "It's the Biden era. Natural resources pricing have gone up." No one asked about your political views that you get from Fox News. I was frustrated with how she talked over me, did not listen and continued to misunderstand because she obviously thought she was so smart and that I was stupid. I ended the call with her telling her to please just send me the quote to my email, there was no talking sense into her. I get an email from their salesperson Justin, who also wasn't much help and didn't offer any reassurance for me as a customer, which is sad because he is a salesperson and it was obvious he only wanted to work with you if you could help him make a sale. He did confirm that gas refill should not be 10,000 only a little over 1,000. Proving my point that Sharon was not correct in the way she talked to me. I also called the Minneapolis branch and talked to someone more understanding and nice. She said that the quote of ten thousand is not accurate either and to call the St Michael location back. Funny thing is, I received the written quote in the email and NOWHERE was the 10,000 Sharon mentioned. It actually had the decent quote around a thousand something. I wasn't going to let it go and replied asking where the 10,000 so called quote was and of course was ignored. I called the office again to confirm they received my signature, and got to Sue. I wasn't sure who I talked to last time and asked if it was her, she curtly said it was not her. At this point, I was done with their office staff because it is so obvious they do not treat their customers with integrity nor respect. Sue transferred me over to Sharon, who changes her tune, acted like she never quoted me 10,000 for a gas refill and never apologized for her abrasive attitude. In her email, she even offered a small discount to mask her mistake. I would have escalated things to the manager, but seeing how all interactions with the staff there had been subpar, I just know this is the toxic environment that managers have allowed. The staff looked down on me and judged me as someone not worthy of being their customer, almost makes me think if it's because of my ethnicity and age. If you are looking to buy from this business, please take a step back and take your chances elsewhere.
