I have three of St. Perter's wool topers and I can't sleep with out one. Three times over the last 20 years I have sent my pads back to St. Peter's for cleaning and recovering. I am very satisfied every time. Thank you!

My wife's family has owned this business for over 100 years. They card and process domestically produced wool on machines they have restored and maintained for decades. It's a pretty neat place. They process all different varieties of wools from all different types of animals. They will card it into batting and quilt and felt it into toppers, blankets, and mattress pads. They make really nice stuff.

For the record, you can buy their fine comforters here in the Twin Cities... but then you'd miss a terrific opportunity to get out and see things for yourself! Brenda tirelessly answered all my questions and helped me pick out a comforter for our bed. I feel as if I purchased an heirloom, particularly since I can come back to get the wool re-carded for a fraction of the cost of comforter replacement. I placed an order and it was ready way sooner than I expected (about a week, really, or maybe less). Here's where I need to apologize, as COVID has turned me into a Yelp n00b. I TOTALLY FORGOT TO TAKE PICTURES! You'll have to trust me that the showroom is filled with all sorts of cool notions and supplies for quilter and other sew-y types. There are also woolen goods for purchase, like hats, socks and mittens. I enjoyed checking everything out while Brenda brought the comforter out for us. We've had the comforter for nearly a month and I love it! It's lofty and squishy and perfectly keeps the temperature comfortable without feeling like a ton o'blanket. As soon as I relocate to a home with more bedrooms, I'll be buying more comforters.

What a delightful look into the past and using wool fiber in wonderful ways. This quaint shop has a small but powerful mill pumping out beautiful wool batting. Go on the free 30 minute tour to see the whole process in action (just not on lunch break when machines aren't running) and learn how this mill has been processing fiber from local farmers as well as selling amazingly warm and durable bedding products. Highly recommended.

Purchased a mattress topper and a pillow online a few weeks ago. And I am blow away by the high quality and excellent craftsmanship of my purchase. It only took a week to get and I've been sleeping great since. I am so pleased with the whole experience.

Beautiful place in a wonderful little town. The owner and employees are fantastic people. Lots of great crafty items at the store including DMC embroidery floss and tons of colors in wool roving. A little gem in Minnesota.

Dang! That other review is harsh. I love this place. I've had hundreds of pounds of wool cleaned and carded here and I had nothin but smiling faces.
