I had went to Stillwater for my road test retake after I had failed At Cambridge, we had gotten there about 20 minutes early and didn’t know where to park, we had went inside and saw signs of were to park, after we had gotten over there to park the instructor had immediately came over said hello and we had went driving off, he was super super nice, just asking little things about me and trying to make small talk, told me I past with no fails just had some docks on fair, overall was a great place to take it, and it had only taken 10ish minutes I would recommend to come here and take the road test here if you can!

I can guarantee you all these negative reviews started with the customer not knowing what they were doing and then blaming it on the DMV. Been going here for years and I’ve never been to a better DMV.
The people have been knowledgeable and helpful in ways I could not fathom.
Don’t let these negative reviews deter you. These people think they were attending a 5 star resort and should be catered to. Just get your correct info lined up and have what you need, and you’ll have a flawless experience.

I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent experience at the Stillwater location. I thought I had an appointment scheduled for Tuesday, May 20, but I was mistaken about the date.
When I arrived, I was met with a less-than-welcoming response. The staff member who answered the door appeared visibly irritated and spoke in a dismissive manner, making comments under his breath and responding with sarcasm when directing us to check the email. When I pointed out that his tone felt disrespectful, he rolled his eyes and closed the door.
I understand that everyone has off days, but professionalism is especially important in a setting like this. I hope this feedback can be taken constructively, as interactions like these can impact a person’s comfort and trust when seeking services here. A little patience and courtesy can go a long way.

Place is unprofessional & confusing. There is a license center and exam station and they are separate from each other. The license center can't provide any information on the exam center and vice versa. We almost missed my son's road test because we didn't know they were both separate agencies. When asked where we go, the worker stated go park at the designated spot in the parking lot. The exam station is also a joke. My son failed his exam in mid October and they still haven't closed out his file, so we can't even schedule an appointment for him. Have to go in person to resolve.

Worst DMV I've been to. Waited over an hour and they weren't able to help me at all. The website says walk-ins were available for the knowledge test but their was no one here. The only days they said they have special operating hours is Wednesday. Not to mention if you tried to schedule an appointment online you have to do it 3 months out. What a joke of a service. If I could I would rate 0/5.

I cannot even believe I am writing this review right now, but here we are in 2022 still addressing the same issues from centuries prior. Let me start by saying I would give 0 stars if I could. My sister and I went to this location to ask questions about her driving test and the process. Shelby was completely and utterly rude. She didn’t even address my sister with basic manners. She never made eye contact or stopped what she was doing and responded I don’t know to every question. Then she proceeded with calling my sister “that black girl”. So I tried to talk to Shelby to get questions and she was rude to me, lack of eye contact or even any type of concern. Instead of talking to me (as I was talking calm, which camera video and audio will prove) she yelled through the glass. I am so heartbroken that this is the culture of Minnesota. Hopefully Shelby and Deanna will be held accountable for their lack of customer service skill and hate for people of color.

I went in today to try and get my Minnesota state id. The lady who called my number not sure of her name but she was very rude I didn’t feel welcomed or cared for whatsoever. She told me I needed a birth certificate I explained I didn’t have one she shoved a paper in front of me and said I needed a birth certificate, didn’t help me on where I could possibly get one or who I could speak to. She was at window 15…
