Wonderful elegant and romantic place to stay! Front desk staff were amazing and made our trip extra special by upgrading to king size bed and just very helpful and informative in general. Thank you for this place and the stay =)

Super clean, one of a kind hotel. Definitely fits the antique vibes of Stillwater. Very thankful to have found this place.

We had our valentines dinner here this year for the 4 course menu. Stillwater is classic and beautiful, so something like the Lowell Inn has its appeal if you're staying in the neighborhood. The place is pretty and quint and everyone on the staff seemed very kind. The food was out quickly, and the waitress cleared the table wuickly between courses. The food was good but not fantastic as is most food on valentines day. If you're looking for a quiet night with your person this will give you that.

We went for brunch and I had a quiche Lorraine. I general don't like quiche because I find them dry. Theirs were not dry and I loved it. They have really great food. I did not stay at the hotel.

Free parking in ramp next door. Definitely recommend!Walkability: 2 blocks off the main street. Easy walk to all restaurants and shops.

We went to the Lowell Inn for a double date for their special order fondue. The food, service, and atmosphere were amazing! The fondue is a special menu that you need to request 24+ hours in advance. It's a four course fixed menu, but they have two add-ons if you desire. I would say it was delicious, but I think the main course could have had more meat for two people. The photos show a shared portion.

This is a review for high tea. This tea is very affordable as far as tea services go. That should set the expectation for what to expect. Tea is little bags and additions such as honey, sugar, cream are nothing special. Honey is in a little plastic to go container, creamer is the little plastic pull top coffee creamer that you'd find at a gas station. The food is mediocre at best and doesn't come across as anything special made on site. The scone was more a muffin than a true scone. The soups, including their special cream of mushroom soup, tasted simply like canned grocery store soup. The canapes were served on toasted bread that seemed also pre bought/premade. The little desserts seemed like items pre bought and just assembled on the plates. The chocolate covered strawberries we had, which easily enough may have been made there, were made with strawberries that looked aged and were unsweet. It was simply not the elevated experience that it should have been. It could very easily be made better with a little more attention to a few details. The Inn is neat and has history that initially makes you think it will be more classy than it turns out to be. The women's restroom had 1 of its two stalls out of order.Again, the price is inexpensive for a high tea service, but then again, I'm not sure I'd call it, "high tea". The servers, though, were delightful and the food highlight? Their cinnamon butter.
