We appreciate the easy way of booking the room. Clean, comfortable bed, very simple but had a refrigerator and microwave. Could've used a coffee pot since there wasn't any restaurant open Sunday morning. Air conditioner was a little loud, but still a good value over all.

Family owned and operated business offering a genuine motel experience in a small town. Updated bathrooms, refrigerator and microwave, with pleasant outdoor seating and short walk to an great steakhouse.

My son and future daughter in law stay there had some problems with the owner left a message not to come back I asked my son and future daughter in law what happened there I paid for the room but I wasn't there just to drop them off and pick them up owner never called me back I still don't know what happened I guess I never will ok

Very clean rooms but very small, it's a good place to stay the family who own it are very friendly. I'd give it more stars but I didn't sleep good due to the size of the bed.

I was driving in bad weather going to work. I knew I shouldn’t continue. I stopped in Tyler. The owner was so very nice and accommodating. The rooms were warm,, extremely clean and comfortable! Thanks so much for saving me when I shouldn’t have been out in bad weather! In the morning a mom and her child were shoveling the snow in the parking lot. I could hear them outside and they were kind to each other even though they were shoveling in -18 degrees. Clearly a great family! Fabulous place to stay! Good luck to the owner, he’s a kind man!

This motel was so awesome! A total throwback that is well maintained and operated by a great staff. The rooms are as tiny as they come, but kick back and enjoy the nostalgia. You can't help but be reminded of how oversized our modern lives really are, when we can be just as comfortable in such a small space. As long as you're in good company with family and/or friends of course. So be sure to check the Tyler Motel out next time you're cruising through to one oversized abode or the other. Try tiny for a change! But make no mistake, TM is big on personality and memories for all.
