She often surprises us with the new vocabulary and knowledge she brings home each day.

It’s clear that she is growing intellectually and emotionally, and much of that credit goes to the nurturing and respectful environment created at school. The teachers are always gentle, compassionate, and polite with the children, which makes a big difference.

They have the most creative and engaging activities — from water days, bounce houses, and princess visits to wacky hair days, face painting, and fun outfit theme days. The curriculum is amazing, and it’s clear how much thought and care they put into making learning exciting.

I also appreciate how they keep parents connected by sending updates, photos, and videos throughout the day through their app — I get to see her smiling, learning, and having fun in real time! “I donated a 20 year old car in February 2024. The process was fast and easy and the people at Newgate (I worked mostly with Casey) were friendly and helpful. Over the years I've donated two other cars to charity and my experience with Newgate has been far and away the best. One of the other charities did not register the title change and a couple months after the donation I was called by the Stillwater Police saying my car had been abandoned there. The second time the person that came to tow the car was a subcontractor and not part of the charity and was reluctant to sign the title transfer. Once again, Newgate has been the best and easiest and most efficient way to donate a car. Also the tow truck driver called ahead about 15 minutes before showing up and had the car loaded and was gone in under 10 minutes. Very impressive.”

The teachers are amazing at creating a warm, enriching environment through ritual and routine, as well as structured free time to developed social-emotional skills.

Our daughter “played school” after coming home most evenings, making a “Morgenkreis” (morning circle) with her stuffed animals, and singing them the same songs they sang at Kinderstube and helping them “check in” the same way she did every morning. They learn German naturally through these comforting routines because when they know what to expect their brains have space to LEARN new things.

Even if your child won’t continue with German after preschool, developing their social- and school-readiness skills while also learning another language is wonderful for their brain development. Kinderstube is one of the best things we did for our daughter - we highly, highly recommend!”
