Before starting children's discovery my son was behind on knowing his colors, spelling his name and knowing his shapes, but within 2 months of starting he can spell his name and say the letters with zero help, he knows every single color even Turquoise, and he can name all shapes. I also love how much the teachers Genuinely care about each child. My husband and I will be very sad when our son has to go to elementary school in September because we love this child care so much.”

Miss Lanisha has been absolutely wonderful. She has such a natural way with the children—kind, patient, and attentive, but also knows how to gently challenge them in a way that helps them grow. We’ve seen such a difference in our child since being in her care, especially in confidence and social skills. It’s clear she really sees and understands each child, and that means everything to us.

What stands out most are the little moments—the way the staff greets the kids, how they take time to connect, and how they handle each child’s unique needs with thoughtfulness and care. They’ve been incredibly accommodating and always make us feel heard as parents.

Our older one has been here for 2 years and our younger one just hit 6 months, and we couldn't be happier with both experiences. Manda, Sarah, and all the other teachers are amazing and can tell they genuinely care about every child. Drop-off is always easy, the facility is clean, and we always feel like our kids are in great hands. Communication from the staff is top notch and we always know what's going on. “Our family has had such a wonderful experience at this preschool. My oldest daughter attended Room 2 with Ms. Pemly as a 4-year-old, and now my second daughter is finishing Room 1 with Ms. Sarah. It’s hard to imagine a more caring, sensitive, warm, and trustworthy group of caregivers to leave your children with each day.

The teachers have consistently been accommodating and flexible with our family’s needs and with the unique personalities and needs of our daughters. They truly see and care for each child as an individual.

The curriculum is thoughtful, engaging, and perfectly age-appropriate. Our oldest especially loved doing “passports” in Room 2 and talked about them constantly at home. Both of our daughters have grown socially, emotionally, and academically during their time here.

“We recently moved and our 3yo transferred from another Kindercare. The director at Arden Hills, Jen, was fantastic to work with through our transition. We even came on a weekend with our little one and she gave the three of us a tour of the classrooms so he would feel comfortable. His teachers have been incredibly engaged and we don't see the same issues with turnover as his previous center (one of his teachers has been there for decades!). Incredibly dedicated and warm staff.”

“We absolutely love this preschool! My 3-year-old daughter has thrived here in every way. They have the most creative and engaging activities — from water days, bounce houses, and princess visits to wacky hair days, face painting, and fun outfit theme days. The curriculum is amazing, and it’s clear how much thought and care they put into making learning exciting.

I also appreciate how they keep parents connected by sending updates, photos, and videos throughout the day through their app — I get to see her smiling, learning, and having fun in real time! “Would highly recommend the shy dog class here. Rebecca was very patient with my dog, who I thought was going to hide under my chair for all 6 weeks. Week 1, my dog was able to go out in the middle of the classroom to look for liverwurst as part of the exercise. She is terrified of new people, so I was very surprised she was able to do that.

We moved right into a Level 1 Semi-private obedience class, and my dog is rocking it with another one of their awesome instructors. The instructor was able to easily help us through a couple of places that were sticky for us. My dog is able to do all the exercises, including heeling around the big ring while the other teams are working. I'm very happy with the positive, patient training methods, and both instructors I've had there so far. The only thing I would add is that I wish we got a graduation certificate for shy dog class. It's fun to go back through all their accomplishments as they age to see how far they've come.”

“We have had a wonderful experience at La Petite! Our daughter is off to kindergarten in the fall, and there's no doubt that she's ready. The school offers a really nice balance of structure and free play, and every teacher we've had through the years has been nothing short of wonderful.

The food is great too! Our family is vegetarian, and it's been no issue at all with the school accommodating dietary needs. Sometimes you worry about one-too-many cheese sandwiches with veggie kids, but that's not ever been an issue here.”

“I donated a 20 year old car in February 2024. The process was fast and easy and the people at Newgate (I worked mostly with Casey) were friendly and helpful. Over the years I've donated two other cars to charity and my experience with Newgate has been far and away the best. One of the other charities did not register the title change and a couple months after the donation I was called by the Stillwater Police saying my car had been abandoned there. The second time the person that came to tow the car was a subcontractor and not part of the charity and was reluctant to sign the title transfer. Once again, Newgate has been the best and easiest and most efficient way to donate a car. Also the tow truck driver called ahead about 15 minutes before showing up and had the car loaded and was gone in under 10 minutes. Very impressive.”

The whole team is amazing and we felt so reassured and comfortable with our daughter being there, knowing she was safe, having a great time and getting the absolute best care. We were having trouble figuring out where we wanted to place our son for Kindergarten and were really pleased with what Carol Mathey’s had to offer: small class sizes for individualized care and a focus on learning through play while still maintaining MN guidelines for curriculum. Even though our kiddo didn’t attend preschool here, he felt at home pretty quickly with the great staff and met some wonderful friends! He has shown a ton of growth in reading and math and is definitely ready for first grade. As soon as our daughter is ready for preschool we plan and getting her enrolled here ASAP!! First, Noah’s Ark is more than just a preschool—it is a full-service childcare facility with strong foundations in education, faith, and whole-child development. What worked especially well for our family was the flexible enrollment options. We were able to pay only for what we needed, including before- and aftercare, customized scheduling, and summer flexibility.

Second, and most importantly, the staff and leadership are amazing. Char has been running Noah’s Ark for over 30 years, and many of the staff members have been there for a long time. There is a wonderful variety of teachers who specialize in areas like art, music, and literacy. The staff is incredibly kind and genuinely cares about each child and their family.

Third, Noah’s Ark focuses on age-appropriate academic skills and social-emotional development while also incorporating fun and enriching activities such as holiday parties, art shows, field trips, and music.

As a public school educator, I would absolutely choose Noah’s Ark again for preschool. It provides the love, structure, and foundational skills children need to be successful in kindergarten and beyond.”

“I toured about 6 daycares feeling so worried about picking the right place for my 5 month old baby. I instantly felt at ease after touring Primrose. The staff seemed happy and greeted me warmly in the infant room. Now that he is there, whenever we drop off or pick up our son every staff member has been warm and genuinely interested in getting to know us and our family dynamics. Communication is easy through the app. Prices are reasonable compared to some of the other centers in the area. The center is SO CLEAN. In many of the pictures I get through the app my little guy is smiling!! We have to leave because we are moving, and I am quite sad about trying to find a daycare as great as this one. “We have been with the CKA Mounds View family for over 2.5 years with 2 kids starting at 3 months old for each. We love the art, STEM curriculum and most of all how much the girls love going to school every day. We trust the Center and staff to keep our kids safe and learning and very happy with helping us transition to all the infant and toddler firsts.”
