Tripped and fell at a golf course so my neighbor's aunt gave me a gift card to Starbucks. It had to be used to fulfill its destiny. Unfortunately they were on break but eventually I was enjoying my hot beverage. Mmm coffee.

Today, we had the worst customer service experience at the Starbucks located inside Target Vadnais Heights. The barista had dark hair and was a young male. He did not greet or acknowledge my husband or I. He simply just stared at us. It became very awkward, therefore, I initiated the conversation, “Are you available to take my order?” Still, no words, but he nodded his head up and down in frustration. We can clearly tell his day was not going well- his actions were quite unprofessional. No matter how difficult your day is going or what life may throw at you,..I hope you understand that your personal issues should be left at the front door when you clock-in. I work in a very professional building and my mother’s health is deteriorating everyday. Never once have I shown any of my patients the stress or frustration I am feeling when I arrive at work. If you’re having a hard time coping with your lifestyle,..I hope you can reach out for help. If you’re not enjoying your job,..I hope you can find a new one. Best of luck!

Consistently understaffed on Saturday mornings. Single person taking orders and making drinks. Not conducive to a Saturday morning pre shopping coffee fix.

Painfully slow despite not being understaffed. Would definitely give a pass if that was the case. They prioritize the drive through line and people inside are waiting forever. Took me 25 minutes to get two drinks even though there was no line when I ordered. When I let them know they forgot one, a normal pike roast, it took another few minutes to get it while other drinks (assuming for the drive through) kept getting made

This location inside Target seemed understaffed. The person there was great and was efficient. No real complaints, except it took a long time to serve everyone in line.

I really regret coming to this starbucks they were SUPER rude. This is the worse experience ive had at a starbucks. Guy was not aware of his customers (it wasnt even busy) threw the cups as if he was mad or annoyed when he took the order. His responses were passive aggresive. Just go to another location trust me .

Good coffee, but the rewards points expire after 6 months. Just go to Caribou where the points don’t expire if you want to rack up rewards.

Look, when I was thinking about this review, I really didn't want to call any employee out because usually when I get called out at my job, it's usually to comment on my "laziness" or "writing Yelp reviews on the job," but that is neither here nor there. Today, this employee was overwhelming deserving of a shout out. Going for a quick coffee run before work at the Starbucks in target, I was blown away, absolutely blown away by Ajah (I think I spelled her name correctly, forgive me if not). Ajah crushed it in all aspects of Starbucks duties. Not only did she take orders, make all the drinks, warm up all the food, clean the utensils, know other customers by name, but she also apologized and thanked me for my patience for my wait time which was not long at all. Heck, she mopped the floors, put away carts, and I'm pretty sure she was going to use her lunch break to walk the Target dog that's in their advertisements. She was tremendous and the other patrons thought so as well. As she finished up a customers drink she offered up a better way to mix in something and the customer said and I quote, "you are amazing!" Indeed she was amazing. It should be noted that when I paid, I asked her if I could leave a tip as here wasn't an option. She politely explained that she couldn't accept tips which is bananas on so many levels. Like, she was that phenomenal of an employee going above and beyond...for no tips? That is unbelievable of her and she clearly deserves a raise. My only hope is that I can be as efficient and skillful as her one day and perhaps, get better reviews for myself. Regardless, she made it evident today that she is an incredible employee and this was the best Starbucks experience ever. My drink was good. 5/5.
