“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Carr at Westonka Animal Hospital. During one of the most difficult times in my life, he showed such genuine care and compassion for my senior dog, Korbie, and for me. From the care he provided to the thoughtful phone call and the kindness he showed throughout the entire experience, I truly felt that Korbie was in the hands of someone who cared deeply about her well-being. He treated us with empathy, patience, and understanding during an incredibly heartbreaking time. When you're faced with making difficult decisions for a beloved pet who has been part of your family for so many years, having a veterinarian who leads with compassion makes all the difference. Dr. Carr gave us that, and it's something I will never forget. I'm incredibly grateful for the kindness he showed Korbie and our family. He is an exceptional veterinarian and an even more wonderful human being. Thank you, Dr. Carr, for helping us through such a difficult time and for treating our sweet girl with the love and dignity she deserved.”

“We had a vet appointment this morning for my daisy girl. Up until this point she needed to be sedated. Dr. Zane was willing to try an exam with out sedating her. She was definitely a nervous growly pup when we came in. But Dr. Zane took the time to get her more comfortable. By the end of the appointment she was showing him her tricks. 10/10 will refer new patients their way.”

“Had a great first experience with my sweet 1 year old Dachshund Rat Terrier mix, Lola. She is a young rescue and needed an initial wellness exam post adoption to continue her on her flea and tick meds, as well as establish regular ongoing care. The clinic was able to get me in the following day after I called and everyone I interacted with was super friendly! They did a thorough examination and even offered a free month supply of Nexxgaurd + and some dental samples as a new client. I will be back and be sure to recommend them to others as well :)”

“I used this place for years. And I needed them on an emergency basis on June 18th, 2025. They got me in that afternoon. I had a beautiful munchkin cat. She had kidney failure and had a Huge seizure that morning at 2:30am. I ended up having to put her down that day?. They were so AMAZING. I will never forget how gentle Katie (I think) was the Vets name. 5 star all the way. She was my little munchkin.”

“I can not begin to describe how exceptional our experience with Doctor Gaskin and his tech was, having just gotten our first kitty. This is both an amazing and stressful experience for me and my girlfriend. Doctor Gaskin was extremely understanding and knowledgeable when it came to answering all of our questions, He was absolutely wonderful with our buddy Milo as well. I am not a very good person as far as social skills and understanding people; but even I can tell the level of passion and care that Doctor Gaskin has for animals. I would recommend this vet to anyone with a furry friend.”

“All of my experiences with VCA Chanhassen have been positive. The care from all staff members is exceptional. My latest appointment would have required my little Missy to wear a cone for 2 weeks until her stitches came out....instead she left the clinic in a t-shirt! So cute and so much less stressful for her!”
