“Had an absolutely wonderful experience at WAH. I tend to be somewhat of an anxious pet parent and just got my first ever kitten. So as you can imagine I had all the “what if” and “just to be sure” scenarios and questions. Dr. Jackie and Cassidy did such a wonderful job fielding every question I could come up with, educating me and teaching me all the things I needed to know to start off on the right paw with my new kitten! Bonus points too for the incredible photo they got for my cat’s vet profile. It’s good enough to go on the fridge!”

“This place is the best vet! They figured out a health issue that my cat had that no one else had figured out. Whenever I have taken my cat there, the doctor is always honest and straight to the point with how to care for my cat but you can tell he truly cares about the well being of the animals. His assistant Alex is also very helpful and super nice and kind as well. I needed referrals sent out for my cat and they were on top of it. Even people at other pet stores recommend him! If you want a vet that truly cares about their patients, then go here!”

My latest appointment would have required my little Missy to wear a cone for 2 weeks until her stitches came out....instead she left the clinic in a t-shirt! So cute and so much less stressful for her!”

“I’m so impressed with the knowledge and care Dr. Johnson has provided my horse. Not only does he come on site for a reasonable price, there is no pushing of unneeded services. My horse was so trusting of him too and he’s normally uneasy about lots of handling by strangers, especially when it’s that invasive. He feels immediate relief which I know from how easy Dr. Johnson can handle him, and I can literally see the difference by the end of the session too. Watching him stretch out my big guy is so satisfying! Highly recommended to make your animal feel their very best.”

“This is a nice clinic, friendly receptionists, clean waiting room, etc. But to be honest since we moved out to Orono we probably would have found a closer clinic just for time saving purposes, if it weren’t for one doctor here; Dr. Allen. I believe Doug is the first name. We just recently celebrated one year since my senior shitszu lulu had a major operation related to an infection she had. Being nearly 14 years old at the time this was a major decision we had to make and Dr. Allen was brutally honest. He said with her age there was just no guarantee, that there could well be something else wrong in the near future, and with her age this could be the start of many problems to come. We chose to move forward with the operation and her life was saved because of it. She’s now just days shy of turning 15. I didn’t know if she’d make it.To be clear, he deserves praise regardless of if she was well a year beyond the operation. Aside from a successful operation and follow up care/advice, I also found him to be experienced and capable. My initial impression of him was he seemed somewhat clinical, but I wasn’t put off by it frankly because he struck me as competent, and this mattered more than bedside demeanor. He was also quick at guessing (correctly) what her issue was, without a multitude of expensive tests.In short, go here (if you can see Dr. Allen).”
