An antique store in a really cool old building. I enjoyed the architecture of the building as much as looking at the antiques. They have a mix of items, really well organized and stoppable, not piles of stuff like you see at some antique stores. Quite a bit of furniture pieces.

Very nice shop. It is a true antique shop with only a few non-vintage items. Store workers were very friendly and helpful with information about other places to visit in the area.

I want to start by saying I am an avid antique collector. My house is a curated collection of very special and sometimes expensive items. I own very little that is not purchased vintage. But sadly I will not be able to return to this store after the way the clerk treated me. After providing my debit card as payment the clerk required my drivers license. Okay I guess~ but my card is signed. She then proceeded to inspect my name and my signature for a very long time giving the impression that she might refuse my tender. I used my card on the pin pad and requested a text receipt but she demanded my phone number in addition to the payment and my texted receipt. I work in retail management and know I could never get away with treating a paying customer like a suspect criminal for supporting a small local business. Sadly I might just have to support online antique shops instead...

Closed for the winter? Bummer, our antique trip is 0 for 3 in Wabasha! The first place is no longer in business...the second place (this one) is closed for the winter...the third place is some weird house that isn't actually an antique store. Since the sign says it's "closed for the season", we were forced to look in the windows, peak in the door, and scroll through their Facebook page while we were standing on the sidewalk. Apparently, PBA has been open since 2015. They look like an average, smallish antique store. But you never know when you might find a hidden treasure - right? So we left with our pockets still full of money, driving north, looking for the next antique store that's actually open for business. -Daddy Maxx Retro
