The server was friendly and the food came quickly. I had the Reuben and it was delicious. Their pub chips were very good as well. Thumbs up!

Really great comfort food. Traveling through, stopped in and had Swedish meatballs w/ gravy and mashed potatoes. Just what the doctor ordered after a long trip. Nice atmosphere, good service.

Very calm atmosphere in the nice town of Wabasha, Minnesota. I went on a weeknight in July and the bar/restaurant was close to full but not very loud either. I had the cheeseburger with fries as well as soup. It wasn't a five star course but great as bar food. They have a great selection of drinks as well. If you want American food and in the area of Wabasha stop by this place.

Food was excellent with several Irish choices. Shepherds pie was very good. Prices very reasonable. Nice pub-like ambiance and very good service.

With Wabasha being a small town, this pub is amazing!! I have already made it a point to come back 3 times in just 2 weeks. I've ordered the Shepard's Pie multiple times because it's so filling and all parts are so tender and rich. It could use a little salt, but I don't mind being liberal with the salt shaker. I've also had the Tuesday weekly special of pot roast. It's quite similar to the Shepard's Pie, just somewhat deconstructed. I love that there are weekly specials in addition to the entree favorites. There's parking spots right in front and members of the wait staff are incredibly hospitable. If you're in town or just passing through, this is a great spot to stop in at! I'll be sure to keep visiting every time I'm in the area.

My favorite place to dine in Wabasha. The Irish Stew and Irish Nachos are family favorites. One of my favorites in the past has been the Bangers and Mash, however the last three times there the "mash" has been straight up mashed potatoes versus the colcannon the menu lists. I loved the colcannon and it really rounded out the dish. I don't know if this change was a purposeful menu change or I just happened to get the same cook making the same mistake. Next time I'll ask before ordering.

We're from out of state and this was our first visit. Excellent food! Had shepherds pie and Irish stew. Smithwick's draft beer was cold and tasty. Rachel, our server, was the absolute best! She was the highlight of our day! Loved the wooden interior. Full of character. Really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks!

We enjoyed our visit here. The bartender also acted as the waitress. Great service despite there being quite a few people. My husband got the special of the day chicken and biscuits. It was similar to chicken pot pie filling with biscuits. I got the shepherds pie which was more like Irish stew over mashed potatoes. Not what I would expect for shepherds pie but it was still good. I do however wish I had gotten the special as well, as it was even better. The Bloody Mary's were above average, although there was a taste that was very unique that neither my husband nor I could place. We ended up hanging out for a few drinks after dinner. Since the place is so small, it was easy to make conversation with fellow diners. I would stop again on our next time in the area.

Always good food and great service. Had a late dinner there the other night with friends and everyone loved their meal; the Shepard's Pie was exceptional!! Staff & owners always friendly. Good drinks, cold beer. Can't go wrong. :)

The Olde Triangle is a life saver for this English ex-pat. This is pure comfort food and a great selection of drinks in a cosy and comfortable setting. The menu is simple and with just enough options that will suit most tastes. I would rather have someone do a small selection very well than try and cover too big a menu and disappoint.
Staff always friendly. The owners are inviting and a smile always found. Decent priced. Consistently good quality food. A place I can happily visit time and time again.

Amazing food and great service, The Old Triangle Pub was the first restaurant that I went to when I first visited Wabasha before I moved here. It was a Monday in November and it was full at lunch time. Says a great deal when it is off season and every table is occupied. Fortunately it was the end of the lunch hour so I did not have long to wait. A table was immediately cleared off and I was seated. I was surprised because it was a table for 4 and I was still seated when it became available. So many restaurants hate us 'sole' eaters taking up a table meant for four. They are always waiting for the next perfect number of customers to come in rather than taking care of the ones standing there. I had an excellent Shepherd's Pie that was served nice and hot and most importantly promptly. Even though there were still many full tables I received perfect service, My drinks were filled right away and when I asked for butter I had it right away. Whenever I take anyone out The Olde Triangle Pub is always my first choice and I have never been disappointed. I am taking a new employee there next week and I can't wait for some more great food and service.

Cute little place. Awesome Irish Stew and Grilled Ham n Swiss. To die for homemade potato chips.

OMG!! The food here is wonderful and the bar is gorgeous! I wasn't sure about it when I walked in, but reading the menu put me at ease. I had the Irish Stew (wish I got more) and Hot Turkey and Swiss. Yummmm!
Edit- found the coleslaw to be, unique. They use apples and it tastes off, even though it was freshly made. Just not in my palate to appreciate. Sorry.

Quick friendly service. Short menu with only about a dozen items, but served hot and fresh. Delicious. Good selection of draft beer! Limited seating with mostly bar counter service.

Stopped in on a Sat night, it was quiet with a few friendly patrons socializing at the bar. Jenn, the bartender was awesome. She kept us entertained and laughing the whole time we were there. A very quaint setting, we'll definitely stop back again!

Waiter was friendly. Food (Bangers and mash) was awful. Like eating in an Irish souvenir shop.

We always stop here when in Wabasha. The food is great and they know how to pour a Guinness. The staff is friendly.

Not many places you can get Sheppard pie and Guinness on tap. This is one of those places. Right from the town that gave you Grumpy Old Men and the National Eagle Museum. I know from walking in I was going to love this place. It smell like really good food. We chose this place because it was a short walk form the Eagle Museum and had a really cool name, super glad we did too. It a bit on the small side but this isn't a large town either. Very quaint and friendly, our waitress was great and put up with my humor.
I had the Sheppard Pie, you don't see this often, and it alone will get me to go back and try their Reuben which I would normally order. My dinning companion had the fish and chips and wow the order was huge. Great find on a day trip and a great reason to return to Wabasha.

Visited a while back. Small place, just right for a lunch for 2. We had the reubens with chips, both very good and lunch size portion - perfect. They also had a sauerkraut sausage soup with potatoes which we were intrigued by. Wow, that was awesome and unexpected! Will be back for another pint and a bite!
