I switched to Hometown due to needing something closer to home. I'm glad because I found that small town bank feel that I didn't realize I was even missing before! To be able to walk in and the staff knows you by name is a neat thing. I love being able to walk in and ask questions and have conversations with real people that truly want to help. I'll always recommend Hometown Bank!

Our cash-out refinance was absolutely painless because Gary was always available, knowledgeable, and helpful. He knew the answers, or, when not sure, said so and then promptly found the correct information. I haven't had such pleasant (and efficient) interactions in a long time. All this, and we were not customers when we first contacted Hometown Bank. We're customers now and happy to be so. Thanks Gary!!! We'd recommend Gary and Hometown Bank to anyone.

The names says it all. Hometown Bank is my go to for the most important decisions. Todd Hann and his team always greet me with a smile. Mike McKeever is very personable. Both Todd and Mike are great to work with. I highly recommend Hometown Bank in Waconia.

Had a very good experience with Sara as she assisted my 92 year old Mother getting documents notarized. She was kind and patient and very friendly. So nice to work with staff who take their time with elderly and offer such respect.

We have moved away from the Waconia area but have continued to bank with Hometown Bank. We love their app and their customer service. We needed to add another checking account to our other accounts and Sara was very helpful in this matter. We were able to complete it electronically in a timely manner. She was great at send emails to both my husband and I so we were all on the same page. Thank you again Sara!

Our experience with HomeTown Bank has been phenomenal. We came for the great mortgage rates and have found so much more. Every interaction I have had anyone in the bank has exceeded my expectations. The service we received from Mike Mckeever on both our mortgage and then refinance was extraordinary. He was patient with all of our questions, and took the time to clearly articulate all of our options. We could not be happier with HomeTown Bank.

Worst experience ever with a bank. Mike and Todd at Waconia/Victoria locations, along with other leadership in this company are very shady and pushy. Customers BEWARE!!! This is not a "Home town" bank! They want to take everything from you and fee you to death, not to mention ruin your credit when they have their chance! They tried to overcharge a payoff for over $20,000 on a mortgage. Who does that???? Todd did and I have proof.I have had other financial institutions as well as legal help say SEVERAL times that they are appalled by this banks actions and lack there of for their so called "valuable customers". As the dust is settling of getting away from them, I have met others that have received the same terrible experience. Go elsewhere!

I had an extremely poor experience as a small business owner, with Michael Orth of Hometown Bank. We worked extremely hard on our end with the bank when we experienced partnership difficulties. Never missed a payment on our loan, or anything else that would lead to what they did to us. When Covid hit, I was told they wouldn't be helping us apply for the PPP. These were much needed funds for us, and Hometown's refusal to help us put us in a huge bind. Worst of all, they wouldn't even tell us this directly - it was excuse after excuse, and frankly very shady. Luckily we were able to find a different bank at the 11th hour to help us out. If you are a business owner, I would avoid doing business with Hometown Bank and Michael Orth at all costs.

They do a great job taking care of the customers. I can always count on Mike Mckeecer with any of my financial needs! Highly recommend to anyone who wants a personable experience or wants reassurance that they will be taken care of. Always great to see them active in the community as well!
