Driver today on I90 west decided to cut me off on snow covered roads to get around a slow driving UPS driver. Instead of having professionalism and allowing me to pass him before he passes the UPS truck he decided to make me slam on my breaks. Luckily I was able to slow myself without going into the ditch or creating an accident. No thanks to the driver who was hauling trailer 955 I was able to make it home to my family to be able to spend Christmas with them instead of in the hospital or dead.

I work here. We rent trucks and trailors. As well as have a wrecker service and wash bay. Were always looking for more drivers to add to the crew.

Terrific place to work, it's a family run business that makes the drivers feel like they are a part of the family as well. Nick, Kyle and Mike make sure there is always plenty of work for the drivers that want it and Lana in the safety department is always available and willing to talk with the drivers and help them with any and all issues they come across. The guys in the shop make sure trucks and trailers are always ready to go. After spending numerous years working for a company that didn't care about their employees it's nice to know that polman transfer is in business

Very good company to work for. As with any trucking company you have to sometimes fight for what you want and what's right. Very rarely do I sit. In 5 1/2 years I've only sat like 4 times and usually only 2 days each time but only 4 times in 5 1/2 years is very good. If you want to run the miles are definitely here. They put up with a lot from other drivers most companies don't. Believe me, I definitely do a lot wrong and I'm still here. I've been trucking 16 years and I make more here than I ever have anywhere. True, the shop foreman and safety lady have a lot to learn about dealing with drivers but at the end of the day Thier system works. I can say a lot of things about the shop foreman and safety lady but since I still work here I won't. Other than that the only other negative is there's no night or weekend dispatch. However, Polman transfer does have Thier act together better than anyone I ever workd for and I wouldn't want to drive truck for anyone else!

One of their drivers just ran me into a construction site on the expressionway about 20mim ago (us indot 1222, polman 901). The trucks do not have a "How's my driving" hotline so I'm posting it here. Not having a number to call when their drivers recklessly put innocent lives at stake, makes it seem like they're either aware of this problem as an ongoing issue and are avoiding it, they don't want to know about any problems or they don't care about the safety of their drivers or anyone else on the road. This was my 1st time encountering Polman trucks and first impressions are pretty important.
