It’s been a struggle to find a vet in the St. Cloud area that I feel cares for my animals in the same way that I do, and doesn’t try and upsell you a million unnecessary things. Dr. Nielsen was wonderful and patient with my timid pup, and gave us some at home treatment options to try before he went into recommending costly medical care. I will be bringing my pets here for all of their care from now on.

The staff was better than the Dr. unfortunately we will never ever go back again.. The Dr. was cold hearted & treated us like horrible dog parents..The Dr. was NOT even friendly..Who does think he is yelling about how dog is ~ he is still a puppy & in training.. Give me a break..And YES, You m his trainer like I am with all my pets & my friends pets.. I don’t suck the Dr. does. ????

Took my roommates cat here for an abscess, and the doctor didn't even use gloves when popping the abscess. He didn't clean it or anything. The table he put her on was dirty, and he had no regard for preventing her from contracting another illness. There's a reason why hospitals have to sanitize hospital beds and equipment. Sick patients come in and the microbes can be transferred to anyone who uses soiled equipment. He then began lecturing me on how to train my dog, who wasn't even the patient who was being seen. He told me I can't comfort my dog when it's scared with no regard for the fact that my dog has severe trauma from his past owners. He made a comment about his political views, which I don't think should ever be brought up in a medical appointment. Not the time nor the place. He was very rough with our cat and injured her further by not being careful when shaving her fur around the now open wound. We had to clean it at home and the staff were very unfriendly. The lady at the front desk didn't even get out of her office chair. She just rolled around the lobby, using her legs to propel herself and just pointed at the door to the room where we would see the doctor. The room smelled like urine and was disgusting, poop smeared on the floor, etc. The fact that he didn't even wash his hands or use gloves when handling an open wound really disgusted me.

I brought my cat here due to a mystery sickness, she was so sick I was worried she would pass. The techs and vet here took her as a patient immediately and treated her. They showed me compassion and treated my baby with love. Highly recommend this clinic, prices are fair and the staff are amazing. My cat is back home recovering now after being cared for for 4 days.Thank you so so much for saving my girl and not charging me a fortune!

Best place in town to take your pet. Whole staff are very helpful and friendly. Only thing I wish I would have insisted on is having the doctor show me how to give my cat the medication.

I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. My cat was very ill, and we worried that we'd lose her. They saved her life, and got her back home just in time for Christmas. Best gift we could've gotten, for sure! Thank you!

I would NOT recommend this place to even treat a mouse. My cat has been having asthma attacks and no tests were run and the vet was very cold. Made me feel like a horrible owner. Told me I needed to assert better control of my cat with very little positive advice or hope of treating her. Which I found even more incredible considering the vet told me he was allergic to cats!! He told me coldly and flatly that she wouldn’t live a long life while I was bawling like a baby. Not one ounce of compassion. If you love your animals, DO NOT take them here!

So this review will be long but I think you should read it in it entirety. We have brought our pets to Dr Glen previously and as my husband is aware I am not a fan of the way he treats pet owners. However that being said we had what we felt was emergent issue with our almost 13 year old dog. WE walked into the clinic on Saturday around 11:00. We spoke with the receptionist to report our dog was vomiting, not eating, lethargic, and shaking a lot. She did get Dr Glen who came out and spoke with us. He asked if we had fed our dog pork and my husband said he did about 2 days prior. He quickly came to the conclusion that Jazzmine had pancreatitis from the pork. Jazzmine was dehydrated and treatment no matter what is causing it is relatively the same. He told us that with pancreatitis she would be admitted for minimum of 3-5 days or even longer. Dr Glen said he would be in touch with an update. The next morning as a dog parent to a fairly old and sick girl I wondered of course if she made it through the night. At 8:00 am my husband and I felt like we would like to bring Jazzmine home and care for her. Still no word at 10:00 so my daughter tried calling. She did not leave a message but got an instant text stating the clinic is closed if this is an emergent message please respond to text for faster attention. She responded to the text At 1130 still no response so I did the same as my daughter did I responded to the text I got from the Vet clinic. At 1:00 by chance I decided to go to the clinic (my second time going there that morning) hoping to get a hold of someone. As you can imagine it has now been >25 hours and I have not gotten an update on my dog. When my daughter and I arrived there Glen and his wife were just exiting their vehicle.I said "Dr Glen I would like to pick up Jazzmine." In which his response was "Jazzmine isn't going anywhere," I said "Excuse me? This is my dog Dr Glen." His response was "I see what kind of person you are." I told Dr Glen that his response was uncalled for and unprofessional. He then invited me in. I told him I was worried and that we had tried calling multiple times since we did not get an update on Jazzmine yet. He just states I was going to call you this afternoon sometime. I told him about the message his business sends out stating for quicker response to text back. He said that just goes to the business phone. As he was preparing to discharge Jazzmine I explained that this could've went much differently if he in the first 60 seconds of out meeting degrade and belittle me. He then states "I'm sorry I am stern and that just how I am." I thanked him the the "apology".I then tried to talk to him about better communication and asked if he would be able to provider that for me in which he stated "I call once a day when I can." At that time I decided to remove Jazzmine. As he went to the cage to get Jazzmine and said "OK Jazzmine moms here show her you're excited to see her wag your tail.He did send us home with instructions and 2 cans of special food which was nice. When we got home Jazzmine was stumbling all over the place. By morning she was done stumbling but still restless. I concluded she was sedated while in the kennel. I understand this practice but I don't understand Dr Glen not informing me of this .Bottom line.....This could have went much differently if Dr Glen had taken the time and had compassion for the pet owners. I likely would have left Jazzmine there had he taken just a moment to be kind and tell me how she was doing and what the plan if from there As stated earlier this is not the first time I've seen him be belittling. Also as a nurse for 32 years I know some things. Pancreatitis is easily diagnosed by symptoms exam and lab of amylase and lipase. None of which were completed. Also just an FYI my dog got one small bite of pork which according to the vet we contacted today is NOT enough to cause pancreatitis. So I would not recommend going to thi
