I would not give them one star but couldn't post without at least one starWe tried to resolve the problem with Resort Marine before getting to this point. We talked with Regan and he said that he would see what he could do...we have not heard back from him. We messaged Resort Marine two times and no response. We sent the following letter to them with no response.May 17, 2022Resort Marine6866 Y Frontage Rd NWWalker, Minnesota 56484-2123Attn: Pete Kelley, General ManagerLast August when we were on vacation in Minnesota we left our boat with your establishment to sell for us. Also included with the boat was a propeller and new hub with bearings in a box ready to be used when needed.At the time we left the boat we had you rebuild the carburetors and also paid for winterizing and storage. Rebuilt carburetors-paid $894.36 - Oil change, winter storage (inside storage) and winterization total paid $662.17.In December we received a call from Regan that someone was interested in purchasing the boat. We agreed on a price and the boat sold.This individual didn't want to pick the boat up until after the winter season.When he came to pick up the boat Regan said that the battery had frozen over the winter.When we finally received our money the first week of May for the sale of the boat Regan had taken $115 out of the proceeds for the new starter battery. It was no longer our boat after December and it worked fine after they rebuilt the carburetors and test drove it. We did not sell a new boat. We do not feel that it is our place to buy this battery since we didn't own the boat as of December 2021. The person who bought the boat chose to leave the boat there. We paid the storage, which we also believe that we should have been reimbursed part of the storage and the new owner should have been responsible for this charge from January through May.We don't understand why the boat sold in December and we didn't receive any money until the first part of May . This was only after I contacted Regan and told him our insurance on the boat was coming due May 9 and I was not going to renew.I sent a message through your site regarding this problem about 2 weeks ago and have not received any response to resolve.After 50+ years of coming up to Walker area for vacation and purchasing various items throughout these years from your store, we feel this is not good customer service.We still have not heard anything from them.

Boat motor wouldn’t start! Fishing trip doomed? Not with the guys at Resort Marine. Turned out it was just a bad battery. Without an appointment, they tested, diagnosed, and installed a new battery. We are back in the water good to go!

I took my dads boat up there to get motor checked out, and after waiting a week, heard nothing. I called and Gordon spoke with me about other items that needed addressed and I asked him to give me estimates on those things. I called two more times, after ANOTHER week, he still did not get back to me. I would not ever take anything there again as a customer. BAD

I purchased a 2017 Honda BF50 motor July 2020. Wandered in looking for a motor for my fishing boat and was greeted when I entered by Rachael (reception) and then helped by Regan. Both gave me the time and friendly service that I had hoped for. The motor was set up for remote steering, but Regan was knowledgeable enough to turn it into the Tiller model that I needed. I dropped the boat off on a Thursday afternoon and was able to pick the boat up on Saturday afternoon which is exactly what they promised. Love the motor, loved the great service! They made giving them 5 stars easy.

I recently purchase a new Yamaha outboard motor from Resort Marine in Walker Minnesota.I have to say that the experience was excellent enough to take the time to write this review.Regan Rudbeck was very helpful and he never used any high pressure sales tactics.The motor was installed on time by there very meticulous service staff and there was workmanship was amazing.The motor works as perfectly and I would highly recommend using their services.I know will visit them again in a heartbeat.
