In December 2024, I purchased what was advertised as a complete Boss box plow from a dealer in Minnesota. To my dismay, I received only the blade, not the full plow as listed. When I contacted the dealer, they informed me I needed to spend an additional $1,500 on parts to complete the plow. Returning the blade would have cost me more in losses, so I reluctantly paid for the extra parts.
When the parts arrived, the shipment was a disaster. Over half the necessary screws and bolts were missing because they were loosely packed on top of a pallet, wrapped only in plastic that tore open during shipping. I immediately notified the dealer, who promised to send replacement bolts. After a month of silence and multiple unanswered emails, I reached out to Boss directly for assistance.
Boss informed me that Minnesota dealers are not authorized to sell to customers in New York, yet this dealer did so anyway. Worse, Boss offered no support, stating that it was the dealer’s responsibility to replace the missing parts and that they could do nothing to help. Now, six months later, I’m left with a pile of useless parts and no bolts to assemble the plow. I’ve wasted nearly $4,000 on a product I can’t use.
This experience has been beyond disappointing—I feel outright scammed by both the dealer and Boss’s lack of accountability. I will never buy from Boss or this dealer again, and I am pursuing legal action to recover my money.

Some of the best customer service I’ve ever had! Justin and his team were extremely helpful ensuring that we picked out the perfect plow for all our needs this winter. Received a brand new cutting edge for my plow and it comes already rusted and missing paint on every corner but don’t worry they assure you they all come like that from the manufacturer so that makes it ok.
Yes it is designed to take abuse that I will put it through. Yet I receive it after you already gave it a beating. When I buy a new part I expect new condition. Beat up condition was never disclosed.

Online order after a quick informative phone call. I don't know if i have words that would do justice for the level of customer service I received. Because i messed up, I needed a connecting wire for a handheld controller, they knew exactly what I was looking for and had it in stock. Shipped same day and arrived two days later. Incredibly helpful and quick. Also, and I hate to do this, but they were hundreds of dollars less than my local place. HUNDREDS! For one small part! If I need another part for my plow (which I'm sure I will) sometime in the future - this is my "go-to". I'm telling you, I could have gone down there, hugged everyone for being helpful, or bought everyone a soda, and drove back while still saving money. Terrific experience.

Did a great job on installing wiring for boss plow in my truck. But could have let it run for a bite when finnish to charge batteries back up from leaving doors open during install. When I picked up truck it was dead.
