The best legion in all of the Midwest, hands down.
I've been a frequent patron to this place for years and never once had a bad experience. The bartenders here are some of the best (I'm looking at you Dan & Brett) and the quality of service is unmatched.
One of the best things this Legion does is how they ring in the different holidays. Incredible decorations for Halloween and Christmas, really adds to the seasons and makes for a great place to feel the spirit of those times.
Wayzata's American Legion does everything right.

The staff is very friendly. The drinks are affordable. They often offer buffet dinners. There are several large round tables, which are perfect for larger groups to gather and visit together.

not your typical American Legion... this place has it dialed in!! GREAT - and I mean GREAT -food, fun atmosphere, and a SUPERB staff. I'd eat here before ANY over-priced, over-hyped place in Wayzata or around the entire lake...

Taco Tuesday was delicious! I love Taco days. The taco salad and refried beans were good and you cant beat the price!

We had breakfast at 118 Wayzata Legion this morning. Two Grand Children, son and Wife and me. Great service and great food! I have been a member for 28 years. Roy

My son and I went there for breakfast. I ordered corn beef hash, but only got hash browns instead. After telling the waitress this mistake, she acted as if I never said corn beef. So I told her how she also messed up my son's order. He got over medium eggs instead of scrambled, and hash browns instead of fries. Her "remedy" was to remove the price of my coffee. She then proceeded to remove the plate of hash browns from my son while he was eating it without even asking. We thought she was about to replace it with actual fries, but she came back empty handed and said she thought he was done eating! When she finally offered the fries and my son accepted, she said "you see?" And she hit me on the shoulder.After questioning her about her tactics, she got angry and said that she would pay for the meal and walked off. I left the money on the table and informed her that I do not want her money and l will never return.This all happened this morning, when the place wasn't even crowded. 3/26/2023
