We were disappointed with the product knowledge and overall customer experience. Furthermore, the owner of this establishment has a history of publicly criticizing fellow guides on social media, making threatening statements, engaging in bullying and harassment. These attacks have been witnessed on multiple occasions across social media platforms. The authorities have been working to prevent further incidents this owner, DH.
Given these concerning actions, we have made the decision to never patronize this individual or his establishment again.
There are better places with more upstanding people to give your business to.

This is a good shop, but I would not recommend for a totally novice fisher. There is a lot of variety to choose from. The person who helped us didn't know a lot about the equipment or some of the things we were buying, and seemed distracted. It was about 20 minutes before closing, so I get that he just wanted to get out of there. However, we didn't know what to buy or a lot about fishing, and he seemed annoyed, so we just grabbed some stuff and hoped it will work.

No where else in the state have I been blown off by a bait store owner for asking for a fishing report. Didint even let me finish asking how the ice is, just hung up. You’d think you’d want people to know so they come and give you business… shout-out to “waypoint angler supply” for being very informative and nice!

I bought a container of Canadian night crawlers, and it turns out they were all dead and molded in the container. I'm not happy 😕 my other red worms and wax worms were ok. Check your crawlers and don't sell molded containers to people i wasted my money.

Best bait shop around! They make amazing custom rods and have the biggest selection of live baits around. I swear they have anything you need to catch big fish!

We come here for bait and they are super helpful. Even though most of the stuff are for pros, they are patient w newbies or parents that have kids wanting to fish. We also did a fishing guide trip and it was a dream come true for my 8yo

Bought an ice rod (Walleye Stinger) from DH. I love it! I feel the lightest hits from the least active walleye. So I had em build me a summer rod. It is equally as amazing!
