Hammer staff were great to work with and definitely have a rewarding atmosphere to work in.Management appreciates hard work and dedication and has wonderful benefits and generous PTO.Hammer definitely helped launch my career in being a group home mid-level management. There is a reason why they are one of the top places to work in Minnesota forany years now.I hope Hammer is around for many years to come.

I have found a rewarding career path! Hammer has been the best place I have every worked. The mission and vision of the organization makes it an honor to be part of a bigger purpose. Hammer has helped ME to become the best version of myself, being able to learn and grow along with an innovative group of coworkers.

Emailed them asking about an apartment. The guy named Brian was unprofessional and rude in my opinion. He asked me if I had the DD waiver I said I don't know what that is since I am disabled and I don't do my paperwork someone else does. I do have the cadi waiver. He instantly says we don't accept cadi waiver hammer isn't an option. Stopped replying. I beg your pardon? First if you're in a business and a customer says they don't know something, especially a disabled customer who also has a learning disability, you should educate them, explain to them what the DD waiver is because they may have it and not realize it. Also I have other services and am in the process of getting MA and MSA. Brian was super unprofessional. I don't know if he's having a bad day or if he's usually like this but I hope it gets better.

I've had a Disability CADI Waiver with Hammer for about nine years and the company has fallen from grace. Hammer used to have a good reputation but my experience is that the present staff including Maddy Fleischman (who truly doesn't know what she's doing except wasting time) cause extreme symptoms of my PTSD to manifest from incompetence triggering excessive anxiety. SO if you want a good Service Provider for your disability waiver who knows what they are doing, do not choose Hammer or you will regret it.

I have worked at hammer for several months. I started in February as a case manager. Very quickly after I started my new position COIVID-19 happened. We have been working remote, and I have been learning my new position remote. I have never had the pleasure of leaving an organization I have worked for a positive review. I have never given anyone 5 stars. Hammer deserves 6 stars. I feel truly cared about and supported as an employee. I feel valued at Hammer. From the very beginning of training you can tell that they really have it together. They have many policy and procedures to cover all bases, and they are very fair policies. So many people have been there for such a long time, because it is such a pleasure to work for this organization. While so many people are scared for their jobs, losing their employment, and suffering during this time Hammer has really stepped up and taken such excellent care of both their clients and their workers. I cannot say enough positive things. The case management department is full of some really nice people, and I love the environment. I am really happy to be a part of the Hammer family! I have no personal connection to Hammer, I didn't know anyone that worked here before I started, and the only reason I am writing this review is because I believe in this company. If I ever had a family member that needed a home it would hands down be a Hammer home. I have never been able to say that about any of the residential settings I have worked at over the last 17 years.

Do not work for this company. The managers and the upper management don't appreciate your work. Supervisor will lie on you because they dont like you and upper management will lit you go without investigation. They use the poor African to work to the hard houses that they dont want to work. Low pay. Save your life some time. Am serious. . If you are just looking for something quick. Work there and look for a good paying job.
