Great staff, very helpful. Many unique items for sale. Lots of "local interest" type of items to buy.

You can find lots of good stuff here at a reasonable price...from knick-knacks to kitchenware, furniture and clothing. Besides, it makes you realize that buying from this place you contribute to funding breast cancer foundation and help those who want to be cured from a terrible disease.

This is a little haul to get to for me, but it was worth it. They have name brand clothing/shoes that are jaw dropping affordable, as well as furniture & home decor. And the cause itself will bring me back.

A large selection of items ranging from funiture to clothes to home goods. It is a very well kept facility as well, and all the items feel like new. Some thrift and resale stores can feel like walking into a garage but this place feels like a solid boutique experience! And the money goes towards a good cause.

This is a very high-end resale shop. Don't expect anything under a few hundred or a few thousand dollars, except for the occasional print or clothing item. Items are donated by local communities surrounding the affluent Lake Minnetonka neighborhoods to benefit Breast Cancer charities. ? Inventory is constantly changing, so if you see something you like, grab it that day. You can pay and leave it for pick-up at a later date if your purchased item is large. Beautiful framed pictures, paintings, furniture both antique and contemporary.

The Hope Chest is an amazing store with such a noble cause supporting breast cancer. We have purchased many items from Hope Chest but most recently we bought a beautiful Kawai baby grand piano from them. We were so happy that our money would go to such a great cause. Thank you Hope Chest for this amazing piano that will fill our home and hearts with beautiful music enjoy! My wife and daughter are so thrilled to have this beautiful instrument in our home! Matt L. I love this shop. They sell beautiful high-end clothing for a fraction of the price you'd pay elsewhere, and the money they make goes to breast cancer causes (foundation and breast cancer patients & their families). I go in myself for the clothes, but they also sell furniture and home furnishings (ie. lamps, wall decor, etc). The store is always very clean and organized. And the staff are both friendly and helpful.Definitely call or check their website for when they have sales and you can find great clothing pieces for under $10/each.SIDENOTE - when visiting add extra time for you to enjoy all of the amazing Minnetonka lake locations in the area.

We miss the Hope Chest in Bloomington and stumbled on their location in Orono. This location seems to be thriving but the parking has drawbacks.

Hope Chest. My new happy place! Terrific clothes (resale/new), home decorations, china and I've got my eye on a gorgeous bed. The prices are great, and of course, the cause is a good one. Thank you to the happy and helpful staff.

My husband and I came into this establishment on a Sunday afternoon to browse and see what the place was about...upon walking into the threshold the two young (teens maybe early 20s) woman who work here gave us a scathing look rather than a warm greeting. We started looking around (following the arrows along their floor) and made our way to the lighting section and was browsing through some of their items when one of these ladies felt the need to come over and start shutting the lights to the lamps on display off without a single word to us. We took this that they were closing and this was her hinting way to say LEAVE.. so we did just that! We walked straight out of the door and got into our vehicle. As we were backing out of the parking space the exact young lady was then outside on her phone. So please tell me what was the importance of turning the lights off right where we were just to turn around and pretty much follow us out if the store. We love taking convertible drives around the lake and we do it ALL the time and have always seen this place and have been eager to finally have the time to go in and look around. I cannot say after all this time finally making it in that this is how we were treated. I will NEVER return and will find somewhere else that welcomes my time and business. If I could I would give ZERO STARS!! SHAME ON YOU TWO LADIES FOR YOUR UTTER LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

I have been a donor to this cause for a long time. No more...The donate by appointment really has me disappointed. I have been holding on to some really nice antiques for them, and have tried to drop off, website not maintained with closure info. I walked in today with a very quiet store, no customers, with two workers behind the counter. I had several pieces of fiesta ware and crystal glasses visible. I was told by appointmet only... ok. no longer a customer.

I love the Hope Chest! I met a lovely lady looking for black slacks while I just love to browse and dream of how I would furnish my barn studio, once the floors are down. I had a lovely day, a small purchase, but love all the ladies in the shop.
