My friend and I visited this store to explore what they had. All in all we went there twice and had a very pleasant time at Wabi Sabi. The 3 workers we met there were interested in us as people and didnt mind having us look around. There is a great variety of furnishings, rigs, and other lovely household items. When I saw a painting I liked the salesperson encouraged me to take a photo so I could go home to think about it. She then told me that I could purchase the painting on line when I was ready, which I eventually did.

Love this place. Always fun to stop in and see what's new. All price ranges. I can always find something to buy.

I've seen this spot a few times and decided to stop in as we're furnishing our home. You can tell everything is curated for the shop - there are vintage, eclectic, and modern pieces. The staff was really nice and attentive when I was looking around and ready to buy an armchair. The chair was really reasonably priced. I did see some items there that were out of my price range, so it seems they do their homework and price based on brand and quality. Their price tags have markdown prices based on certain dates which is helpful in knowing when items will go on sale.I'd probably visit this shop again when I have larger furniture needs - they don't have as many small home decor items.

I have read so many of the reviews about the owner and they are all true. She should not be in the customer service business. She would do better as a guard in one of the prisons. She does not know how to treat customers or her employees. I has a horrible experience with her 3 years ago. I will never shop there again. I tell everyone about the bad experience I had. Don't deal with her store. You will be sorry if you do.

First time visit. Had good pieces available for decent prices. Not sure how the policy works if you choose to consign with them. If you live in the area and are looking for furniture it would be a good first stop. There did seem to be staining and ware on some of the couches.

I just wanted to send a heart felt thank you to Kay, Pat, Laura and Shirley and all of the Wabi team for helping us furnish our new home with well loved Local pieces. Pictures to come. We really appreciate how we were treated and all of the magic that happens at this local shop. It means a lot to us that we could source well loved, pre owned, local furnishings for our new home. We hope all of you will come to the house warming and we appreciate that we don't have to dress up and can just show up as we are and we are always welcomed. What a special gem in our community. ?

Went to purchase dining chairs (from 2 different consignment customers) at Wabi Sabi. Sales person was friendly and helpful. My husband went to pay and the owner, in front of other patrons, refused to sell the items because of a transaction that happened over a decade ago. Basically, the owner made a math error in a multiple item purchase and contacted me weeks later to collect more $. She went from harried to harassed and I exited the conversation. 10 years later she said we stole an item in front of other customers and sales staff. My husband maintained a pleasant demeanor. The salesperson and patrons were clearly uncomfortable as was I. I feel for the two consignment clients whose items were not sold. I am sure ours is not a singular experience. We went down the road to Hope Chest ( where the proceeds go to Cancer Society ) and bought beautiful chairs at a better price. The owner of Wabi Sabi behaved in a vindictive and non-professional manner. I would suggest you pass and go next door or down the road.

I have shopped and consigned item for years. I’m shocked and disappointed in the low reviews. The items change all of time, it’s all about the timing. The comments about age and race are simply ridiculous. If you feel this way, then look in the many mirrors, as it’s your issue. Not this family owned store. Let’s move on and shop local.

Not for me(a Black woman). I walked in there like nobody saw me, other white folks walked in and got a hi, welcome in. But when I was leaving one of them was excited to say BYE. Like you ain’t welcome here. And no I wasn’t going to give my money to them after the vibe I received! And their shop ain’t all that so??♀️.

Bought a table and chairs set for a good price from here about 5 years ago. I’ve moved to a new home now and need chairs and barstools so I thought I’d try my luck here again. Wow. This is a boomers paradise. All the pieces are so old and outdated. It’s like instead of having estate sales people bring the furniture here instead. And the prices are ridiculous for how outdated the furniture is. I could get cheaper barstools and chairs from Becker that are in style and better condition. Basically if you are between the ages of 60-100 this store is for you. I suggest they buy more youthful pieces and slash the prices. Think about it…who is the demographic looking for consignment furniture? Millennials who are buying their first home. Who is not buying consignment furniture? Boomers who already have a house full of furniture.

Rude service. Not worth your time. I'd pay more to not have to deal with condescension.

Customer service was sub par. No greeting, good bye or thank you's after I said these things to them, but when older customers walked in they were greeted kindly.1/2 of the items were good quality furniture at reasonable prices. The other half were very dated but not "antique" like, and can be found online through marketplace or goodwill at much cheaper prices.Time is better spent at the shop next door, the Rak. They are less pretentious, better items, and it is a non profit.

I have been a customer and consigner for several years but have just closed my account and will never patronize or recommend them again. When I've brought (NICE) things in lately they actually sneer as they look through the items, quickly and rudely rejecting most. "No birds", "Wrong color", "needs bulb", etc. without so much as a "please" or "thank you." They took two framed pieces of art, one a small original by a local artist, and the other a large, nicely framed print. After 10 days they were not listed under my account. I learned that the large print was "missing". It seems they "donated" it without ever recording it in their system or calling me or putting it on the floor. Offered a $10 credit for what should have been listed over $100. One person was helpful and kind, the other three, including/especially the owner, were as rude as could be.

A place to frequent often. Merchandise changes on a regular basis. Some really great deals to be had and some very unique things.
