PHARMACY - I hesitated to switch to this pharmacy due negative reviews, but so far I've only had good experiences. I like the convenience of the drive-through. A different pharmacy couldn't fill my son's prescription due to an insurance issue, but this Walgreens filled it quickly without a problem. Once I waited longer than most would like, but I still got my prescription in a what I think is a reasonable time.
STORE - Sometimes going through checkout is very slow depending on who is working. As long as you're not in a rush and have patience, it is fine. Personally, I think we should have a lot of grace for everyone working retail- even when they don't meet our expectations.

Tonight was the last straw for the Wayzata Walgreens pharmacy. We’re transferring all of our family’s prescriptions to another pharmacy. I’m leaving this review in the hope that someone who can make a change actually sees it and does something about it.
I pulled into the drive-through pharmacy line at 7:48 p.m. I had been tied up at work all day and busy running kids around all evening — I got there as soon as I could. There were two cars ahead of me. The first customer took until 7:59 p.m., and the second didn’t finish until 8:03 p.m. When I finally pulled up to the window, the pharmacy tech flipped the sign to “closed” right in front of me.
I sat in line for 15 minutes, only to be turned away without any explanation or courtesy. It’s incredibly frustrating and a complete waste of time. Walgreens needs to put a better system in place to serve customers fairly and respect people’s time — or risk losing more loyal customers like us. I could have understood if I had arrived at 8:01 p.m., but pulling into the line 12 minutes before closing and being turned away after waiting so long is simply unacceptable.

I stopped by to get passport pictures the cashier called someone to help no one showed up he was staring at us waiting after 1hr no one came to help neither did the cashier he was just standing there so we left. I got tired of carrying my daughter.

As a former member of this staff I can confirm that the this store is still a nightmare from vetted staff members to the manager staying in the office to avoid having to deal with customers. Ordering online is also a bad idea because they’ll delay it for 3 hours and won’t even start on it until 10 minutes to closing time

Getting photos done here is a nightmare. Their system will tell you your order is completed four hours before they've started, they will be extremely unhelpful or considerate of your time when you arrive to pick them up, and they'll fumble around the mess of completed orders for yours on the off chance they actually completed it and hold up the line doing so. I am 0/3 on orders being completed when I arrive - always hours after getting the notification.
Photos aside, this store frequently has more employees outside smoking cigs than inside working, it takes 5 minutes for cashiers to process a single transaction, prices are ridiculous, terrible ambience, the store is routinely a mess, and you can never get assistance. Might be the worst retail location in the twin cities.

I went in to the pharmacy in wayzata today @ 7:45pm with a simple rash/bug bite question. The male pharmacist was impertinent, condescending, and just plainly intentionally unhelpful professional ( if you could even call him that ) I have ever had the unfortunate luck of speaking to at a Walgreens. I have also come to find out this is an overwhelming opinion of this male pharmacist. Very sad that Walgreens puts up with such inferior professionalism.

Just tried to stop in to get some printer paper at 9:20am. Store hours state they open at 9am. Pharmacy staff waiting out side, they do not have keys to get in. Said someone would be there to open the store in 15 minutes. We shall see.
New management may be needed here.

Just starting using this Walgreens bc I just moved here. Now I know why they have such a low rating! Horrible custom service filing prescriptions!

I am disappointed. Unreliable delivery service. I was sick so I ordered some meds for delivery. I was updated that medication was delivered but the package was nowhere to be found. I called customer service and they just offered a refund.

The pharmacist on the morning of 1/7/24 was extremely rude. When asking for guidance on over the counter meds, I asked for clarification on how those would work, he told me that if I didn’t like his answer to go somewhere else. When I responded to him by saying he didn’t answer my question he went back to his computer and ignored me. Wayzata Walgreens has some terrific pharmacists but he is not one of them.

impatient, unhelpful, refused any explanation...even though Walgreens automated system said I should call my pharmacy to check on prescriptions that should be expiring soon. He did not have interpersonal skills at all.
