LOVE tubing with Welch. However, the line going over the bridge in the dead sun is horrific. There should be another way to line up or get numbers. Something so ppl aren't exhausted before they even get to the river.

Welch mill is great, water was a little low this year but the ride was still a blast. Line might look long but it goes fast and I have never found anything but good people on the river.

We just did the 1 hour trip versus 4 hour trip. It was fantastic! Business seems very well run and people working there very friendly and helpful.

This was pretty cool. I went tubing and had a good time. Went a little late so we only got to do the hour ride. Very pretty landscape. I think next time I will rent a kayak though. My 4 year old daughter enjoyed her time as well. She liked being able to get out of her tube and swim in a few of the slower and deeper areas of the river.

Inside staff was awful, not friendly or kind. As if our presence was a bother. The bus staff was good. The kayaking down the river with friends, wonderful

Great people. Super helpful. We carried our kayaks up there from Oklahoma while we were visiting our friends. They were super nice and careful with our equipment I would float there in the future. Their prices were super reasonable as well!

Great tubing, nice staff. Depending on the water level, plan 1.5-2 hours for the short trip and 3-4 hours for the longer trip. Arrive early, the last bus for the long trip leaves at 2pm, and there can be an hour wait in line on busy Saturdays. Pack a cooler with snacks and drinks, no glass bottles!

Love, love, ❤️ Welch Mill!!!! We've been going there for almost 10 years. The water is clean, rarely see very drunk people, no beads, the staff goes above and beyond. We try and go every other weekend

I love tubing this river cause it’s nice and clean and has a hot dog stand half way down but remember to bring cash. The one thing I don’t like is even if you bring your own tube you still have to pay the same amount as if you rented a tube from them.

Three of us went tubing on 07/28. Tubing was lots of fun until unexpected storms rolled in and we were rescued by a welch employee. However we weren't even half way down and welch never compensated our trip or asked us if we wanted to come back at a later date ?

We had a great time tubing and the service a Welch village was fantastic and organized. When you arrive gather your group and go in line together, you will need 1 ID per 15 tubes and it is $18 CASH per tube. Once everyone in group is paid they will hand out tubes and free twine to connect together and then load you up in the bus to take you to the drop off zone. The long trip took us almost 5 hours. Upon entry to the River it was really cold but quickly warmed up. My only complaint was all of the nasty weeds which is out of their control. There were a few shallow spots and quite a few rocky areas. Don’t forget to bring music and coolers. Our group had a blast. Oh almost forgot to mention half way through there is a place to stop and purchase hot dogs, brats, chips, soda cash only

I love this river and the area. I was sad when we were told today that we were not allowed to do the long trip even though the website said we could until 2 pm. I am only able to do this once every couple years and unfortunately the areas they drop you off at and where you get out is EXTREMELY difficult to navigate.i don't understand why you are not able to remove sharp rocks and even make a safe entrance and exit? Not everyone is able to do this tough terrain however many of us want to enjoy the river. Will you PLEASE consider making it easier and safer to enter the river so we all can enjoy? Also keeping your website up to date on the times as well please? Thanks so much!

We arrived when there was a fairly long line. The line moved quickly. While the process was fast, we got no direction as to where to wait for the bus or which bus we were supposed to take.Once on the bus, the driver explained the next steps simply and clearly. Our float was great even though a massive thunderstorm caught us right in the middle.

Excellent tubing! The river level fluctuates so be prepared for a little bit of a brush on the butt with some rocks, but the shuttle is very convenient and they’re well equipped for large groups and families. Be sure to stop at the food truck parked in the lot (cash only) and get some absolutely delicious hot dogs from some very friendly folks.
