Lowe's for all of your home improvement needs. Stop by the local West St Paul, MN Lowe’s to pick up gardening supplies, check out new appliances and paint colors or try out new patio furniture. The store is lovely as per usual with a large parking lot and always great sales. The garden section has everything expected and more, with healthy plants including vegetable plants and flowers. However, experiences with staff can be inconsistent. There are helpful staff members, but other employees do not know much about garden plants. On some visits, no one knew what specific items were and even seasoned employees misdirected customers, leading to frustration while searching different areas of the store. In one concerning incident, a store employee followed a customer to their car in a manner that felt accusatory and scary, making it difficult to shop in peace. This behavior was disappointing. Despite these issues, the store remains a source for a wide selection of merchandise, including specific tools like Dewalt planers for a great price.
We recently discovered the West St. Paul location and have shopped there a few times now. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. We've been able to find what we needed for our various projects and household cleaning/maintenance. We will be continuing to shop at this store going forward.
