Zada did such an amazing job today breaking the ice and being a wonderful active listener. I was a little overwhelmed trying to learn about mattresses online (and I almost bought a cheap one randomly off the internet, but after laying on a few I realize I would have hated what I would have bought blindly). Instead, Zada helped me feel not rushed as I was set to go around a whole store. She listened and remembered what I was saying (even when I wasn’t really keeping track of which ones I was trying because I was trying to take all the styles in.) I felt she was being genuine and I never felt judged, as it’s a little self-conscious taking a nap in public (or talking about your ratty old mattress). She actually requested multiple times that I lay longer and it was helpful to actually relax and not feel rushed or pressured.
I was at this location because I was with someone who had a previous great experience at this location, who had convinced me this was the place to go for a mattress. I had no intentions of doing more than trying a couple today but I really feel confident I made a good investment today- the Purple Plus was the best for my back pain, and I could really feel some differences. Zada was so knowledgeable and patient, and their customer service was above and beyond- I was actually so happy to hear there’d be a place to leave a review because I love leaving good ones. There were other workers who also greeted us and gave a quick intro to the store, but Zada’s patience, humor and ability to educate helped me make a decision I’ve been putting off for years. I had just spent months online shopping for bed frames- I’m wary of fast decisions without options. I am so excited I had a great experience and made this investment.”

We have purchased several original mattress factory mattresses over the years and have been satisfied with them. That no longer is the case.
We recently purchased two twin XL mattresses for our new king-size bed. The salesperson requested that both mattresses be manufactured on the same date so they would be consistent.
Upon installing the mattresses on the bed, we immediately noticed one of the mattresses was 1 to 2 inches taller than the other mattress, we contacted Original Mattress Factory to discuss the problem. Original Mattress Factory sent out a Customer Service Rep, Lonnie, to inspect the mattresses. Lonnie took measurements, used a level, and determined that one of the mattresses was way out of tolerance, according to their specs. He also determined that the mattresses were manufactured on different dates, which went against the salesperson's request with our order.
The Original Mattress Factory solution was to bring the defective mattress back, disinfect it, open it up, remove some padding, then close it up, disinfect it again, and return it to us.
We expected to purchase a new mattress, not a refurbished mattress doused in disinfectant chemicals. We asked for a new mattress to replace the defective mattress that was sold to us. We expected Original Mattress Factory to stand by their product and replace it with a new mattress that was manufactured correctly, but so far they have refused to replace the defective mattress.
We will be reporting Original Mattress Factory to the BBB.
Lousy quality control and, lousy warranty. Very disappointing. Take our advice and do not buy from Original Mattress Factory because you will not sleep at night.

“I have a Sleep Number bed that has served me very well for many years. It's showing its age and I decided the Labor Day sale was a good opportunity to replace my beloved bed. I got held up after work and arrived at the store with only an hour to shop before the store closed. Dale was wonderfully patient, let me and a friend who accompanied me to try several options I was considering, and made suggestions without coming across as a hard sell. I decided on what I wanted to purchase, and my friend decided to buy a bed as well. There was some issue with the system that Dale had to work around since help was not available. Bless him, he ended up working well beyond closing time and he never once soundedf frustrated or annoyed, either with us or with the computer problem. He just found a way to do what he needed to do, and we went on our way. My new bed wil lbe delivered in a week, and I can't wait.”
