I have used HRBlock in the past. Previously had a decent experience with Jerry. He retired. Made an appointment with Roy. Was not met with anything other than your the 3:00? Went back, found out appointment was only for 30 minutes. Ridiculous, I have many documents, he rushed it along, recommended the standard deduction, I had 12k in write offs, mortgage interest, healthcare, SS for under 18 children. He used none of it. Told me I couldn’t. Jerry for the last 5 plus years used all of it including my total income. In result I missed out on my EIC of @9300. After an awful experience, frustrating and extremely impersonal service. We walked out to the waiting room with Roy, he said to the next customer, sorry I didn’t know these people would be so difficult. No thank you, no handshake. He did not even put our return in an envelope as I always previously got. We paid. Walked out and felt defeated and treated with no respect. I’m not sure if I’ll ever use HRBlock again. I wouldn’t hold the door open for Roy Z. Let alone have him touch my taxes. 1/10. Not even exaggerating.

See Chris each year at H&R Block in White Bear Lake (MN) for my taxes. She is knowledgeable, personable, making my tax preparation easy to handle. I usually have a question or two which she is more than happy to answer. Makes my experience with tax return filing comfortable.Have gone to H&R Block since my divorce in 2000. Romal took care of me in the beginning, Chris taking care of me since Romal's retirement. Nice working with same person each year.

Tax accountant was unprofessional. A mistake was made concerning an account number typo made on my tax return so the IRS and state didn't get their money. They refused to reimburse my accruing interest because I didn't have the "peace of mind" package which my account did not mention. This is unfair and unprofessional. I would not recommend doing your taxes with H & R block.

I have been doing taxes with H&R BLOCK for 4 years now & I have not regretted it. Taxes are difficult & they make it easier for me.

Chris Hughes in H&R Block White Bear Lake office is wonderful. She was up to speed on tax deductions and laws.Made sure to cover everything possible for me. Did my returns quickly. Very nice, personable and professional. I would recommend going to H&R Block.

More fees then last year, she asked me for my account about 6 times after each time giving it to her, the math she was describing made it sound like I was getting screw outta the tax preparation after I ask about it.
