If anyone is missing the helpful trans girl who worked here, I quit because the manager Jade cannot stop riding us so hard.
She expects us to close the store and get everything clean and tidy while also helping customers with only 2 employees. And we are expected to leave 30 minutes after close so we don't go over the hours aloted to us by THE COMPANY.
When things don't get done instead of coming in cleaning up the little bit left over and carrying on her day, she decides to berate us after we come in about how messy things were when she had to open the store.
THE OPENER GETS A WHOLE HOUR OF EMPTY STORE TO PREP FOR THE DAY
Closers only get 30 minutes and one person has to be counting down the registers during that time. The rest of the time they have to clean the store is done while customers are there.
In conclusion, the reason I can't help you anymore is because the manager is emotionally abusive of her staff, and I don't think that $12.10 an hour is worth all the stuff I have to do plus being emotionally abused whenever the manager is working.

Came here with my brother and friend. My brother had to use the bathroom so we walked inside pretty empty place just saw one person getting checked out. I give this 2 stars because of my experience and the toys are pretty nice. After my brother went to the bathroom I went to the bathroom. There should be locks on these doors! Someone walked in on me in the bathroom didn’t even knock didn’t even ask didn’t even try anything just walked in didn’t say sorry. Please add locks and if you work there please knock.

Wonderful employees who have helped me expand my hobbies of vinyl work, embroidery and crochet. Every time I go into that JoAnns I know I will leave with a smile and satisfaction. I do wish there were more embroidery floss options though.

I honestly loved going to this store but one time after work one day recently, a worker literally stopped me and asked me to take out everything out of my pocket of my sweater. Mind you I was wearing an oversized sweater that my mom bought me, I told her that only have my paystub and my keys in my pocket and my phone in my waist band of my shorts. she said something along the lines of I thought you were shoplifting. I really wanted to effe say to her, “is this really how you treat your customers? Especially if they are people of color?” but I walked after she said that. Mind you I wasn’t even shoplifting! I rather delete myself than shoplifting. I will NEVER come into this store. If I could give zero stars I would because of that.
