Stayed 1 night and had the worst experience ever. TV didn't work so had to listen to guy in room next door cough, snore loudly, and have sex with what sounded like a wildebeest. I would have rather have slept in my car. Never staying again. Worst hotel ever!!! GO TO THE SUPER 8

Can't beat this hotel in this area for the price. I read some negative reviews (from the past) elsewhere that had me concerned, but for over a hundred bucks a night difference we took a chance. So glad we did! Amazing staff and rooms were just fine.

I rented a room for a week for work. The room was clean and very well priced. The wifi was high speed, however they never cleaned the room the entire week or even replaced the towels. I had to go to the front desk to even get new towels. And they had no microwaveRooms: Rooms were clean but never cleaned or had a microwave

The staff was friendly and check in and out were quick. They also let me have a later check out which was greatly appreciated. The room was on the smaller side, but was clean. The outside of property could use some updating, but hotel is located in a safe area (just on the outskirts of Winona) and that's more important to me. Great stay for the price!

1 star because I can't give 0 stars! At first appearance the room seemed fine, appeared clean, until we moved the mattress (will get that) and found trash under them. The room felt damp the whole time. We had called ahead and asked if they had crib available, we were told yes...if we were told no we would have brought our own. When we had been told to call back the day before our stay to remind them we would need a crib, no big deal..they then told us to remind them at check in okay. When reminded them we would need a crib when we checked in, the yound man at the desk said that he remembered talking to my husband the day before and seemed a bit annoyed. We checked it sometime between 6pm and 7pm, my husband had to go back to the front desk even later to request the crib again. It was a playpen that had never been used, no big deal...so my husband goes about setting it up and it had a hole it it straight out of the box and was flimsy as heck, didn't use it. We all go to sleep, my husband, myself, and the baby in on bed and our six year old in the other. The AC ran all night but it still felt gross and humid, but not that big of an issue. The real issue happened when I woke up in the morning and was covered in red dots...so I decide to remove the blankets and sheets and found a bug....yes, THE BUG! A bed bug. So my husband starts moving the mattress, this is how the trash under the mattress was found along with a swarm of bed bugs, and the swarm was worse on the bed our six year old had been on. My husband scooped some into a disposable coffee cup and went to the front desk. He told the young lady their that there were bed bugs in the room to which she asked for proof and he gave her the cup. She looked inside and said they would have to deep clean the room now. She told us that we could check out and we would receive a full refund if that's what we wanted, we did choose to do this. When we checked out the phone rang and you could hear the other end ask if they had rooms available and the girl said that one just opened up... this was Labor Day weekend, it has been almost two weeks since then and I have not received a refund at all. I did wait about a week before trying to contact them because I know stuff like that takes time and there was also the holiday. Once we started trying to reach out to them to resolve the matter we would get put on hold until someone on their end eventually hung up the phone, this has happened multiple times. We drove six hours to vacation in Winona for the weekend just to turn around the next morning.TL;DR They have bed bugs, and staff is terrible

Rooms are small, but decent. The room keys are very sensitive though, had to get them redone for day 2. The wall A/C unit in 126 will not air-condition out the humidity if the outside air temp is low. Decent finish and cleanliness for the value; certainly one of the better ones in Winona. 8/18/23

Room was clean and the hotel was quiet, which are my two main concerns regarding my hotel stays. The room was on the small side, but served its purpose. Rating would have been 5 stars, but the continental breakfast was a bit on the skimpy side. Not much for offerings.

The only reason I gave four stars for service is because Brian allowed me to pay cash for 25 nights at the construction rate. This place needs a lot of work. The breakfast sandwiches were decent too. I definitely grabbed about 6 sandwiches a day before heading out the door to work. The art work seems like a decent of enough attempt to make the place look good but it's impossible to cover the mold and mildew smell. That place would likely get condemned if it was closely inspected. On my way out Brian gave me his card and said he could offer me a lower rate next time I was around. No thanks! I'll be staying across the street or down the way.

I haven't reviewed the Days Inn in Winona, MN in a year. I have stayed there so many times and have had very little problems with the rooms or staff. Until my last stay (which was less than a week ago). The morning staff person was NOT very inviting and she was pretty dang rude. I came down to the breakfast area around 7:45am for coffee and the canteens were empty then. We then came down for breakfast 10min after 9am and when she noticed we were finally having breakfast, she was VERY quick about taking the muffins, locking the fridge (when she saw we were getting cereal, so no milk), locking down juice machine and not even making more coffee. Canteens were ALL empty of coffee. She didn't say anything to us and ran back behind the front desk. Now I do understand that 9am is the end of breakfast but when it's ALL still open and out, what's the problem with 2 of is eating? I don't see an issue with it. She was very rude to us. That is unacceptable for anyone in Customer Service. I hope the next time I stay there she is not working.

Stayed here twice. It's nothing fancy, but I've gotten good night's sleep both times. Room was nicer the first time. Second time, I think I stayed in room 134, and it was a bit of an odd shower. Worked though.

Where do I start? The AC in the room that kept me up all night? The TV that didn't have the cable hooked up, that I went through 3 remotes trying to figure out why I couldn't get any channels? The socks under the night stand that belonged to a previous occupant? This is what going cheap gets you. Bright side, clearly an attempt was made to make the place look better, the room looked very nice. The young man in charge of the breakfast room on 7/24 was attentive to his duties. But would I stay here again? Hell to the no!! Its not a good value when you wake up feeling like hell.

Very clean. Comfortable and affordable. Looks to have been recently remodeled. Breakfast was fine. If traveling with kids, they have waffles, cereal, muffins and fruit. Along the Great River Road making it convenient to stop away from the hustle of larger towns.

7.1.2023 Apparently the young man at the front desk at 2:30am feels his job is “more important” than reaching out to a manager so my son can have a safe place to sleep tonight, even though my son is 18 with a valid ID and Credit Card (not debit, credit). If something happens to my son, you’ll be hearing from my lawyer. Unbelievable and inconsiderate individual. My son is also going into the military… but cannot get a hotel room. That’s awesome.

Service was nice, but the room was gross and smelly, and the toilet didn't flush.I mean, come on now, be better haha.Cheapest place around, but I would highly recommend spending an extra $50.00 and staying somewhere else.
