I made two orders this week. One for 3 pilots and some hardware and I was charged $12.53 freight which is normal. I ordered a single guide reamer the next day and I was charged $22.85 freight. I can ship a cylinder head across the country for close to that price. Be sure to have them quote your freight otherwise you will be paying too much. Either way, you will receive it in the same amount of time regardless of the freight cost. Or, if you must buy something from them, order it online so that you have nobody to blame but yourself for the exorbitant freight.

I bought Goodson’s pneumatic valve spring press a couple months back. The price almost choked me but I needed something to help with disassembly/assembly of overhead cam valve springs. I took a chance on this tool and I want to report that it is well worth the $$. Jobs that used to take 2 hrs are now complete in 15 minutes—I’m not exaggerating! I no longer dread working on these heads. This tool is right up there with their diamond valve guide hone in terms of “greatness”. Thx!

Look at silver seal / beam / CHS / pretty much anywhere else almost guaranteed to find better pricing... but where they really like to rape is the shipping... order a 4oz pair of motor brushes annnnnd bam $25 shipping for them to stick it in a $3 mailer..... if it's one of their "specialty" parts then you really better bring lube
