My husband ordered a few pallets of foam board for insulating. My husband gave the notice that he would be there at a certain time so they can be ready with the pallet outside (it was a service offered to coordinate a time for pick up). He waited over an hour after the coordinated pick up time. Why offer that service if you can't do it? When they finally came out with it, they left it on the curb and didn't even bother to help him. If it was something easy to load we don't complain. This was not so easy. Another customer, older gentleman, saw my husband attempting to load the items and called out to the workers "aren't you going to help him load? Where's the customer service?" The worker rolled his eyes and slowly walked over to assist. He was acting like a kid who had to do chores. Had an awful attitude about it. Not expecting 5 star service but these kids who work here really are this generations. Unaware, all about me, lazy, and have lost touch with reality and community. We will not be purchasing big items from here. This is the 3 rd bad experience and I am finally writing about it because I was giving grace with the other 2 experience. The paint dept and 1 lady at the self check out were the only people with great customer service. I have not been to every dept in HD. Good customer service goes a long way.

They have a deceiving website and if you call for information on a product it's a 10% chance on whether or not the information is correct and if the product actually is in stock even if they say it is. Waste of time. I drove 20 minutes there after being put on hold and was still on hold when getting there. It took less time to drive there and find out that they didn't have a product, than it did to wait for an employee to tell me over the phone. When I confronted a manager and showed them that I was still on hold for 30 minutes, they laughed and shrugged it off like it wasn't a big deal. After having multiple situations like this at home depot, it's safe to say I won't go back there. Menards is way more reliable.

They glued fake flowers on top of succulents to make you think they were blooming. Deceptive and ridiculous.

Horrible appliance experience. I bought appliances on a special and due to my kitchen being delayed due to plumbing inspections and floors etc I had to push back the delivery date. When I did they said I was fine and and I received a confirmation for the new delivery date. Later learned that because the delivery date got pushed back farther than their hold time which no one at the store told me about the order got cancelled. No one notified me!!!! I had to go back in and re buy the same appliances and try would not honor the discount that I originally got and I couldn’t switch appliances since my kitchen layout was already based on the ones I originally ordered. If someone would have told me at the store that pushing it back would trigger their system cancellation I would have just taken them and dealt with the inconvenience. They need to train their employees or setup a catch in their system that wouldn’t have allowed the reschedule. They didn’t even notify me after the system cancelled the order that they would be there that day to deliver so sat around for nothing! Horrible customer service experience.

Hard to get around the amateur shoppers. When I am willing, on my own 2 legs to walk over to SELF checkout, Im saying that I can handle this, I don't need every employee to ask if I need help.I am smart enough to ask if I need it. The only thing these employees are doing is taking money out of my pocket by wasting my time.... Time is money!I often wonder if home Depot has me bugged with a microphone, 60% of the time I go, the isle I need is blocked off by staff doing stocking of higher shelves. I miss the days when stores did their stocking, overnight. I truly believe that retailers don't care about their customers anymore. If they did they would have more respect.

A large store with everything you would need/expect at a home depot. Whether I am here for my next home project or for grabbing something for my clients the customer service has always been pretty good. Love the gardening/outdoor section during the spring/summertime as well, great variety of flowers, plants, and landscaping options.

Staff couldn’t be bothered to help with questions, and then when we finally got to speak with someone, no one knew what the heck was going on. The person was “too busy with cash” and said they couldn’t be bothered. They also cut hours short last minute for a holiday party and rushed us out of the store.

No tap and pay.I didn't have my card on me so I had to order online while in the store and carry my stuff to customer service to "pick up". Steven D was great but dang HD corporate, get it together.
