Kelly and Ruth were absolutely amazing. They provided above and beyond services. They help me accomplish my engagement. They were both knowledgeable and professional. Bought my ring over 30 years ago at Goodman Jewelers. They were bought out by Kay 15 years ago (give or take a few). Their locations are not convenient for me - over 50 miles roundtrip to any of their stores. I did not keep up with the twice a year checkups because of that and because I wasn't wearing the ring very often due to my work and other activities. Last month (Nov), for the first time, I brought my ring to the Woodbury store to have 2 sapphires replaced - one had fallen out and another had fallen out several years ago. (I had the jeweler next door to my work at that time replace it but he didn't match the color well, at all, tho he thought he did. I was SO disappointed.) Kay replaced both sapphires and matched the colors perfectly! I am very pleased. I now have the lifetime guarantee that they will replace any of the stones (6 sapphires and 1 diamond) for free as long as I keep up with the 6 month inspections, which I can now do because now I go to Woodbury every other week. Kelly took care of me both times I was there and she really knows her stuff. I left another ring there to be re-sized. I'm very pleased with my whole experience with Kay.

I went in to drop off a piece of jewelry for repair. When I walked in a lady told me that someone would be with me shortly. While I was waiting I looked at jewelry.One man came from behind the counter and started doing something else. I didn't think anything of it. Then a couple walked in and he immediately greeted them, and started helping them. I stood there in disbelief that he completely looked over me.Another sales associate (Alex) saw what happened and apologized even though he did nothing wrong. Alex was still with a customer and the other associates were still busy as well. I really just wanted to walk out the store at that point. Alex finished with his customer, and he immediately came to help me. He again apologized for his coworker and asked how he could be of assistance.Alex took his time, answering all my questions, and explaining the repair process to me, as well as the cost of the repair. He also let me know that I would have the chance to purchase the life time warranty for the piece I brought in.I am giving the store 2 stars because they definitely need to go over customer service with employees, but Alex gets 10 stars for his outstanding service! If it wasn't for Alex I would have walked out.

ILLVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this locationI can not say enough WONDERFUL things about the shop or the people.I went to have the chain shorter ( it was a adjustable one) a chain my daughter had bought me at a Kay jewelers for my birthday in June(she didn’t purchase it until July) The adjustable chain I didn’t like the length.So I took it in to get it shorter., I was in the Woodbury area and took my chainTo that particular Kay jewelers because I was in the area. The customer service representative. I got to assist me with so very above and beyond polite and sent off the chain to get shortened. See if charge because I told him it was a birthday gift for my daughter.The chain came back sooner than expected .I went back all smiles, ALL employees with happiness in their attitude & voice tonesALL EMPLOYEES polite, kind, helpful & NEVER tried to sell me anything extra nor tried to make me feel like a bother. ESPECIALLY because I was coming in with a already purchased chain.I will never From my home in Brooklyn Center to Woodbury JUST FOR THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I received BOTH times I’ve been there.You can not put a price on great customer service I CAN put a value on it being worth the 30 minute drive. To receive the help I have both times being at the Kay Jewelers in WoodburyForever only going to shop here & give my money to a place where the employees put you has a person & not your wallet 1st

Came here for 12 months interest free financing. Your representative neglected to tell me that I didn’t qualify and the financing I was approved for would be charged interest. I didn’t find this out until I got my first bill, which was after my proposal. Now I can’t take the ring back from my fiancé to take my business elsewhere. You guys screwed me.Edit: still no effort from KAY to make the situation right. 30% interest on an engagement ring when I was lead to believe I was getting 0%. As shady as it gets.

Purchased my wedding band from here. It is definitely on the lower end side of jewelry stores but I found the perfect band to match with my ring from here. They have less warranties than other competitors and make you pay for resizing except the one time when you purchase. I have had my ring for over a year now and it’s in good condition, but definitely has a bunch of dents from my other ring pushing on it.

Wish I could give a 0 rating if I could. The Staff always seem so crabby & unfriendly when you walk in. I was not happy with my previous experience with Staff member Ruth. I went in to exchange a ring due to the initial size being too big. Ruth took the ring I brought in to exchange and immediately took it into the back without any explanation of the process. She proceeded to charge me again for the same ring but for the size I wanted. I was so confused as to why I had to pay again for the ring when I was simply asking for an exchange due to incorrect size. She gave me no paperwork or confirmation for the refund/return of the first ring. She saw I was confused but didn't seem to care.Luckily she gave me a receipt for the new charge. A month later there was no sign of the refund from the first ring. At this point I paid 2x the price for 1 ring. I contacted customer service and they informed me Ruth didn't do her job correctly and never even processed the first ring as "returned" or refund needed. I felt like she took advantage of me with hopes I wouldn't notice or track this situation down. I felt like she didn't want to help me in the first place. Kay Customer service was able to fix the issue immediately which I appreciated, but it seems like they went through a hassle trying to contact this Woodbury location to make it right.

I researched online and wanted to buy this family ring. All 3 sales people were taking an extremely long time with customers. Then this chick walks in after me and the sales lady decides to help her. She looks up and says we'll get to you in a little bit. I say to her that was here before her and walked out. Terrible customer service! Go the Kay Outlet at Eagan outlet mall for awesome customer service.Review #70 in 2023.
